Okay so club Entropy is a known maybe worth hanging around there again?

Wait six, three stopped in May; talkative, pleasant and setting a grand niece up in a business. A business? grand niece makes seven maybe?

Three others awkward, intense, been recently as February. We only caught one in February.

So is it three and they got stressed due to the hunt? are there seven or more in the domain? if so they almost rival the number of relevant kindred we have. Are they ghouls? Could that explain the changes? Well the one we met definitely had the taint, stronger then me to.


Verity replies:

"That's great stuff, thanks, a really good start. Did you catch any names, the women from may, February, niece or business? It's all worth me having a look to see if I can turn up their whereabouts. For so many to go missing over such a long period of time. I want to get to the bottom of this.''

May, hm ? She thinks back to last year and is kind of sure that's around the time they snagged Igraine. Either they have tried dressing differently or they brought friends. Either way, February isn't too far off, so it can be reasoned they're using the Kimpton, either still, or again. So she allows herself a mental 'attagirl' and texts back.

'Thanks a lot, that's pretty helpful. Keep your eyes open and take care.'

Sucks for Frank, but thats not the sort of thing she wants to go into, especially over text. Thus, the plan stands. Kimpton Sawyer it is.

The younger and more talkative group that have not been seen in months went by variations of Mary. Mary, Mary Beth and Marie. I heard nothing about the grand niece's name, only that she needed to be kept away from some dangerous things that the Marys did not approve of.

As Helen looks around Kimpton Sawyer hotel, please give me a perception roll and a description of what she is doing.

Helen is basically moving around inside the place and trying to spot stuff that hints at some Hamleighs using the place for their purposes. She's taking her time, as she's not necessarily trying to confront those, just confirm whether the place is still a base.

Okay so not exactly trying to hide that the use of alias are they. But it doesn’t narrow down how many might be in the wild.

Based on the response Verity will go to where the most out of the six have been sighted.

It had taken a bit longer than Al had expected (with the need for clothing which didn't happen to be suits or outdated taken care of) to get to the Kimpton Sawyer to meet with the Reeve as agreed upon. Before exiting the van, he took a moment to compose himself and force the seeming of life upon him.

"Once more unto the breach, then..."

Then he exited the vehicle and slowly entered the building in hopefully adequate clothing (dark blue pullover, black trousers, brown chelsea boots), using a black umbrella as a cane. Slowly shuffling through the rooms he looked for the Reeve... or those they had planned looking for.

Helen found that the Hotel Bar has no signs of Kindred other than herself. The wait staff is chatty.
An overheard whisper nearby is "-Things are getting back to what they used to be this month."

Verity was faced with an ally who stated it was the more popular clubs. No more in Entropy than others, the quarry was spread out.

Describe what your character is doing

Verity writes up a to do list of each of the clubs that gets mentioned to her and then night by night, club by club does a circuit of them essentially using the praetor's taint as a very risky kindred detector, while looking for anyone who fits the description or anything out of place/ unusual in each.

Helen gets a drink and tries to get more about that as soon as an opportunity presents itself.

"Why, what happened ? Was there some sort of disturbance around the place or so ?"

Also adding the blush because I tend to forget it from mobile. Grrrr.

The clubs that Verity visited were quiet. Not well attended by Kine. Was this a consequence of the people being kidnapped or of the fire attracting the mortal authorities? It would appear that the mood of anxiety would make hunting in the club much more difficult. Only kindred who have been seen at Court are noticed. Miss Clarke and Vicenzo most of all.
Helen was told "No, not that we noticed. They went home with a few guys over the course of a week.

Then we saw the older, less fun people go with three people..." The description matched Raul, Alessandra and Helen herself.
"Then we didn't see any of them again."
