Given this had been a focus in the summer he really had let it fall off, not great. And with all the social drinking he seems to be doing lately it was just as needed as ever. Even better it meant he could keep his eye on the city at the same time.

Chambers has his pushbike out and bright yellow athletic shirt on, ready to give this whole exercise thing another go. Performing some light warm up exercises by the start point of Sacramento valley station.

He reached the end ... just ... panting and sweating and a complete mess but he did make it. No records for speed set, dignity long gone but that seemed to be a common theme with events lately. Chambers leans his push bike against a railing as he gasps for air, over a decade of smoking was not paying dividends right now.

Looking up he has a crushing revelation. Now he has to bike home. Something that is almost ... almost to much to bear. But on he gets and so slowly he wobbles a little, sets off for home.
