Blood Hunt: Outside Club Entropy

Several Kindred of the Domain had met to form a plan regarding the Blood Hunt. The group formed a plan based on the intelligence provided by Priscus Jack. Now, the group was searching Club Entropy for a criminal. The night had deepened. It was early yet for the club and less Kine than usual were around. It is possible that the feeling of fear from recent events of the abduction and the three missing men would make the Kine skittish. There were two men standing in the shadows about thirty feet from the door, talking quietly. A bouncer with an ear piece was clearly visible at the doorway. He appeared to be vigilant.

A woman wearing a dark gray scarf draped over her hair and shoulders was further in the darkness, looking in the direction of the club and within line of sight of the two men. There were two curbs convenient for cars to pull up and park without alerting the people at Club Entropy.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

Jennifer had moved with a lady- like calm, briskly ushering anyone who needed a ride into her Mercedes AMG ML 55, a Performance SUV. Jennifer reached into the back of the SUV and pulled out a leather jacket, which she donned. Jennifer sat in the seat behind the passenger seat and picked up a small black leather backpack that was on the seat. As a matter of habit, Jennifer opened the top flap and glanced inside, verifying all was present from the last time she answered the call of the Blood Hunt.
Liam was in the driver’s seat and as soon as everyone was inside, Jennifer stated “To Club Entropy, please.”
The ghoul drove the group to Club Entropy. As the car moved smoothly through the city streets, Jennifer continued to keep the illusion of life with her Blush. Liam parked at a quiet curb within sight of Club Entropy, yet a walk from the door. The vehicle was shadowed and Liam disabled the interior car lights turning on when the doors were opened.

Jennifer reached into the small backpack and removed a wooden stake, which she secured on her belt. Jennifer exited the vehicle and shrugged the black leather backpack onto her back.
She took a moment to hide the stake with the Touch of Shadow.

Helen makes her way over to what she deems a good vantage point. Clad in her jacket and having stuffed most of her hair under the Seahawks cap she's wearing, she leans against a wall and pretends to fiddle with her phone, like many people do these days. Only she's keeping an eye on her surroundings while doing so.

[Albert Baker]

Al stayed in the car, as instructed. When the doors opened he took off his seat belt but didn't get out Instead he took a pack of cards out of his briefcase and began a patience. Now it came down to waiting.

Jack was dressed to the nines already for club going so he moved with grace and purpose to his Escalade. He had his duffel in the back with the tools of the trade for the night, donning his overcoat and tucking the dagger securely but within reach. After placement, he cloaked it in shadow to not raise alarm. He followed the group to the club and parked a few car lengths down from where the BMW settled along the safe curb. He had seen who he assumed to be the target in the darkness watching the entrance to the club. For now he willed the fraudulent life into his skin and waited for the go ahead to begin his approach.

He silenced his phone and alerted his ghoul to remain within the area in the other Escalade. He stepped from the vehicle and kept the door open.

The next few moments pass quietly. The men continue to speak in hushed tones. The night remains quiet. The normal sounds that you have come to expect from the city seem hushed. There are less Kine out in this neighborhood. The signs of Kine going about thier lives such as the sound of car tires passing on roads nearby are less frequent. One of the men steps off of the curb and begins to walk down the alley, towards Jack and Jennifer. As the men separate, the demeanor of the men change. Both make side to side looks, anxiety stretched on thier pale faces.
There was movement from the woman in the dark grey scarf. Her hands on her side move slightly as she watches the man begin to approach. What would she do?

Jennifer remains still and quiet as she watches the dark alley and the woman in the dark scarf. She remains within a few quick steps of the vehicle. Her dark eyes mark the man's movement and the subject's reaction. Jennifer's eyes tick quickly towards Jack. Jennifer remains alert and monitoring Jack, prepared to assist as needed. She trusted that everyone on the team remained alert and prepared to take on a criminal. A shirt step was taken deeper into the alley with the intention to hug the shadows. Yet her foot kicked some piece of small debris left in the alley. A small sound is heard from the alley.

Jennifer takes a moment to determine if she had been spotted. Her eyes tick towards the Kindred. She turns her head to check the other side of the vehicle where Albert observed, and then the end of the alley.

Jacque looks back into the Escalade, debating briefly on whether or not to pocket a stake. For better or worse, he decides to leave it behind and closes the door.

Eyes tick to the movement of the men, the target and his companions followed by a scan of the alley and approach.

Their choice of parking was strategic, and one of the patrol wandering on his own felt like it played to Jack's advantage. He leaned against the SUV and acted as if he was waiting for someone. Maybe a date for the club?

Eyes still on the surroundings, Helen shifts her position a bit more towards a not as well lit out part of the area slowly. No hasty movements or things like that. She looks over the men and the target, but for now remains on standby.

[Raul]

The Gangrel Whip has been standing near the Reeve as he had been directed to. He's wearing semi-formal clothes beneath his leather coat, the coat reaching to about mid-hip. Beneath that coat, tucked into his belt is a stake, over that section of his coat is a messenger bag, helping to keep things hidden. He stands nearby, tapping on his cell phone, looking as if he's waiting for an Uber.
