    The wildness that infuses a Beast gives her a supernatural affinity with animals. A Beast gains the benefit of the 8 again rule when using the Animal Ken Skill, and receives a free Specialty for the one animal that most reflects the Beast’s seeming. That same wild nature gives a Beast a powerful personal magnetism. A Beast’s player can spend points of Glamour to add to dice pools involving Presence and Composure. Each point of Glamour spent adds one die to one dice pool.

    Tooth and Claw

    Can inflict lethal damage instead of bashing damage when fighting unarmed.


    Burning Hypnotism

    Once per scene, the player may spend one Glamour to surround the Flamesiren with a blazing flame-like aura. Anyone looking at the Flamesiren must make a successful Resolve + Composure roll or suffer a two-dice penalty to all actions until the character decides to douse the aura or the scene ends, thanks to the distraction.

    Vincent feels sorry for his fellow beast, knowing how hard it is to keep your stomach settled with the scent of rot filling your senses as such. "Are you okay bud? Sometimes it helps to breath though your mouth until the urge goes away." Vincent looked away and towards the two paths, he knew he should probably get closer and investigate which would be the best way to go.

    Mien
    The real side of Jasper looks very similar, tall and lanky with a lithe build. The glaring difference is his head: a large shaggy head of what looks like an Irish Wolfhound rests on his shoulders. A pair of expressive green eyes and alert ears give him an alert and kind look to his features. He still has that same rugged good looks about him, despite the blocky canid snout he has. His leather jacket looks very well made and hangs on his lanky form almost like a second skin, the furred interior looking soft and blacker than the night.

    The light floral scent of honeysuckle with the slight tang of musk beneath it, like a good sweat earned after a roll beneath the sheets.

    Jasper takes a moment to recover. He tugs a water bottle out of his pack. He takes a swig to gargle the taste out of his mouth, which is a good bit messy with a canine snout. He leans forward while he does so, likely having had a good amount of experience dealing with that particular issue. He nods over to Circe and Vincent, "I'm good.. Just got a bit... It's not a pleasant smell, as you're likely very aware of.."

    He looks around, trying to breathe through his mouth more than his nose, but the dog in him wants to scent the world and he does so as he peers about.

    He gags almost immediately again, turning back to that same tree. Thankfully, there's nothing more to come up, so he's quicker to recover this time. "Fuck," he says with conviction after he's done another quick rinse. "Let me try something different..." he says.

    He closes his eyes, hand resting on the tree still to support him as he lets out a slow breath and concentrates on the area around them, trying to learn what he can about the different paths set before them. This seems a bit easier than inhaling that smell that he can still taste.

    With the abrupt vomiting with additional gagging, plus the abundance of choice to spot things, Circe doesn't learn anything new.

    Vincent on the other hand, takes a closer look around, and notices there, in the trampled path leading north is speckled, fresh looking blood.

    Jasper's still in a world of olfactory hurt, but it doesn't stop him from acting. Under the omnipresence of the rot and decay he scents fresh flood, not a lot but enough to catch his attention, and with his Clause work feeding his understanding of this swatch of the Hedge, he knows that there is a hollow near by, as well as hobs, and farther afield there are some goblin fruits.

    Vincent sees and the blood and along the trampled path, "Look there is blood, along this trampled path. Do you think we should follow it, not sure what we will find, but if the leg is anything, it may lead us to who is setting these traps."

    Vincent decided to try to catch a scent as to what is possibly waiting for them. Hopefully it would not be something too dangerous.

The helix of her ears elongate out 2" inches ending in a tip. Her features sharpen and her figure has an unnatural, inhuman litheness that can be intellectually disturbing.

    Circe tries, really she does, to see what Vincent is pointing out. Clearly, her skills are not in tracking but in violence. Well, not quick looking.


    "Well, it is something to do. A neighbor to greet IF they aren't a cannibal," she answers Vincent's question. If they were a cannibal? Well, second verst will be same as the first with that situation.


    Hunting briar wolves was fine. They were rabid monsters. "Do we actually want ta meet them? I got no beef with someone hunting briars, might even buy 'em a beer. What are ya boys planning for this? Best ta have the same tact before we meet."

    Vincent still smells a lot of the rot, but knowing he's trying to find something else underneath the layered fetid scent allows his nose to catch the fresher blood-scent, and something else, sweat, maybe? Or maybe that funky smell a well used towel can get when you don't wash it.

    With it pointed out to her Circe spots the freshish looking blood trail.



    So sorry for letting this hang for a while, things have not been great for me, time sped by and I didn't realize how long it had been since I'd last posted! I don't want to narrate further until Jasper posts, if he's going to post, or if y'all want to make a plan on how to approach or not to approach what's waiting down the path

    "I just got a whiff of some fresher blood as well as something that smells older, sweat or maybe the mildew that lingers on a towel. Not sure how else to describe it. What do you think, should we continue forward, I am prepared if you guys are."     "Foot fungus," she proposes as the mildew on a towel smell to Vincent. As for proceeding, well they had naught else to do around here.

    "Well,"
    she considers the options and equipment that they have. Tactical thinking and such. "I've no problem with going in loud and large, make our presence known and maybe intimidate whatever it is." Circe considers that an option. "Or, I've seen Rambo so I know bows are a stealth weapon," she nods to Vincent's choice of equipment. "We could try to sneak and recon," that was a second option, "Have me be loud whilst yer quiet. Decoy," third option, "Or wait for a return, but nobody nose when they'll be back or wants ta smell that." She points her rifle towards the rotten remains.

    "Fanculo waiting. How sneaky are ya boys?"
    That was also a good question. Circe really needed to finish not only the ninja suit, but learning to be quieter. So difficult that! "We can always take a look see, then go with all loud, me loud, or all quiet. Oh, or diplomacy."

    She keeps forgetting, talking is an option. But she has machine gun and wants to use it. Opposed to that gun crazed thought is sourcing Briarwolf bones/hides for Hedgespinning. Summer in conflict, makes sense.

    Whatever it is that Jasper had done did not agree with him. His face turns green and he heaves. Shuddering as he tries to get something up and out, but having already vomited the entire contents of his stomach he tenses and chokes on air. "Hollow. Hobs. Fruits." he manages to get out between bouts of heaving and coughing. But after that, he shakes his head, admits defeat, and heads back the way they'd come. Leaving Vincent and Circe alone in the hedge.

    The question is now, would the Lost still want to go in loud and large one man down?
