Goodbye Summer Bash!

"Sure Vincent, why not." Circe agrees to the offer of alcohol. She might as well, giving another smile to Fugly, leaving him to his num-nums without her distraction. She heeds the call of beef. It is what's for lunch.


Seraphina stays strictly on business. Nothing about the missing monarch. "Glad ta hear it. Maybe literally if I can find those nightclubs. Me? Eh," she shrugs, "Good business fer me thus far. Bad fer folks elsewhere oh ho ho ho!" Circe had no qualms about that. "Some I can't talk about, client privlege and ya'd call bullshit on some of it. Oh!" She perks up, "I got ta ride a helicopter, then sail through a storm, got a mouthful of souvenirs, and had to help with mechanical work during said storm all fer one job. Fuuuun," the tone she said the last word in made it quite clear it had been anything but.


"The monkey queen rises, up from the depths, 5 feet high," is her response to Sonja's return from under water. Going by the panting, she'd not gotten gills recently. "Don't try diving like that in Underland. Too many leeches," and wasn't that a fun topic. Eh, she was still going to eat.


First was beef. Second, was well the fixings to go with the burger. Third is dessert. Always go for dessert.

[Anatole]

Anatole was looking hungrily at the burgers, ribs, and hot dogs.

His plate was cold.

He managed to tear his eyes away when Vincent asked him a question.

Anatole looked at the Flamesiren, then at the bottle he was holding. Then back over to his seat where he's left his drink.

"I have one, but I thank you."

The wizened's teeth grew from his beard into a friendly smile.

"Who won the wrestling match? Couldn't see through all the splashing."

Vincent grabs another Tecate out of the cooler, pops the top, and places a lime in the mouth of the bottle. "Salud" he says as he hands the bottle to Circe . He then grabs his plate and heads to sit next to Anatole. "I think Circe won, I did not know she could lift me so easily, but then again she could have had some help from the water and buoyancy."

As Vincent sat down, he dug into his burger, truly enjoying the flavor of the grilled meat.
