As she is called out, more or less, Helen has another look around and then heads for the Iudex. She arrives with a nod as a greetng and waits for Raul/whats to come.
As he arrives, he gives a nod to the Lord and the Haunt in turn. "Good evening," he says, his voice as warm as the night is.
The Lord waited until both approached. He reached into the box and first produced the scabbard scene at the tournament. The length of it was encased in a quality leather but both the top and last few inches were sealed with gold and adorned with jewels. The positioning of each emerald gem was so that they imitated the the full hearts of Fennel while engravings in the metal accentuated the sprouts in a tasteful manner. Elsewhere along the metal, the etchings took on a near Celtic shape.
In his other hand, a small brooch with the image of crossed foils was revealed.
"Our victor in Fencing, Reeve Helen Kingsley. The match was hard earned, having to weigh risk and reward in a close fight. Her choices led her to victory; a testament to how she serves the city as Reeve." He first offered Helen the scabbard and then pulled the pin from the brooch before asking, "May I?" A fair precaution in the realm of beasts and by no accident was the question first posed to the obfuscated beast of the Nosferatu.
Accepting neither the scabbard or responding to the pomp and circumstance that he offered with the pin, Jack returned the scabbard to the table and carelessly tossed the pin back into the box. He then turned back to the two and uttered a frustrated, "Help yourselves to your prizes. I'm sure you can sort it out," before returning to the faceless crowd that was Formal Court.

There's a similar pin with fists instead of crossed foils in the box, as well as the gold dipped MMA gloves.
