Was Ale within her rights as Prince to ash the sisters? Yes.


But she wanted to reach out and see just what the fuck was going on. The sisters had to have gone rouge, no intelligent Prince or Reeve would have sanctioned what they did.

Though it couldn’t be seen, there was a brief look of surprise at the words. Were they talking about the same employee? Or was there a miscommunication?

She was going to go with miscommunication.

“We must be talking about different employees. Unless you are in the business of encouraging them to go to new cities, not announce themselves and steal my resources.” Code. She hated code.

“I have a Miss Igraine Hamleigh secured in lockup. Her sisters are currently be sought for the same offenses; I expect to have them by the nights end.” A pen tapped the desk, “My call is simply a curtsey to you and your boss. And to ask if this is how you allow your employees to act and represent you, because it's not something I tolerate in my city.”

Curious, “Is that something she has informed you on? Or do you have knowledge I do not?” because there was an air of certainty, like maybe there were eyes and ears within her city.

“That is exactly what I am asking. As they all seem quite confident in breaking my Laws and causing problems.” She wasn’t worried about McIntyre, as Invictus, she knew the Laws.

“As I said, my call is a curtsey, I wanted to give you the chance to take them back to your city or allow them to face justice within my city.” The Savage was aware she didn’t have to make this call or curtsey, but she was.

Did Ale like making calls? No. Aside from coded talk, they tended to drag out at times and she was often bored.

But it sounded like they had reached an agreement and her curtsey had been received.

“I’ll see that they are taken care of and the proper amount of punishment is delivered.” Time for another Execution Court, which were secretly her favorite.

And of course, she was within her rights to handle the problem. But sometimes it paid to reach out and form communication.
