The Nox Populi is an upscale experience that will take Sacramento nightlife to a whole new level.

In the heart of downtown Sacramento there is a place of intrigue, excitement and entertainment. The modern flare of this venue is host to exclusive parties. The seduction of this establishment may take you away as you drink, dance and socialize. There are private services available upon request. The best DJ’s in town are in line to play a wide variety of music. Some of you may dine…as long as you have your VIP pass.

However this night the club was closed to the public for a private affair. Most of the furniture from downstairs has bee relocated to the main floor for the evening. There's a security checkpoint that will also hold one's 'unmentionables'; namely, weapons, just past the entrance. There are also private areas, dark, and furnished with soft couches, as well as meeting rooms with conference tables and chairs, and an area with several televisions. The main area has been specially decorated with long black and brown silken drapes cascading from floor to ceiling.

Another evening; another Danse. For some it will their first, for some it shall be their last. After all, this is the Prince's Elysium, and subject to the Laws of the Domain.

Formal Court a specific event. Announced to the Domain, you are expected to attend or you will find your Acknowledgement revoked. After 1 Week, the doors to Court close (no new entries into the thread). Once you have left Court, you are not permitted to return. Court is never truly empty: this can include 'faceless masses' of Kindred beneath notice, ghouls, herd members, devotees, or even officials in their offices.

The coterie of Clarke, Jake and Sanchez enter together as a knot. Ms. Clark wore a rose-colored calf length gown with 3/4 length sleeves, her blonde hair swept into a high bun. The style is far from the usual elaborate hairstyle. Her fair light skin was carefully made up with peach lipstick and light brown eyeshadow, bringing out her blue eyes. Her Beast is cloaked.
Mr. Eddison Jake was a skinny, unobtrusive man who held his Beast Cloaked. He is African American, around 5'11'' with a closely cropped hairstyle. He has an unobtrusive air. You likely would look right past him, unless searching for him, specifically. He wears a grey off the rack suit with a violet pocket square. The tie is grey, not flashy. His Beast is cloaked.
Mariposa is Mexican American and wears a midnight blue a line dress over her plus size figure. One might notice that the bracelet that she normally wears is absent. Ms. Sánchez accented her dark skin with shimmering gold eyeshadow that looked fetching. Her beast is Cloaked.
The three Kindred look about the room, likely checking for their elders.
Mr. Hoyle enters Court. Mr. Anthony Hoyle is a gentleman who is white - haired, respectable looking. His cufflink jewels suggest his clan is Ventrue. He is BP 4
The other Kindred of the Domain enter Elysium over the next few minutes.

This post signifies that all other NPCs such as Simone Perez, Jackson, Rebecca McIntyre, and Vincenzo are present in Court. Skip the ST in the marble and turn round, I shall not be making ST posts

[Fast Eddie]

Fast Eddie arrives dressed to play the game. A mid length, black leather jacket is worn over a white shirt and a skinny black tie. The tie is loosely knotted and the top button on the shirt is undone. Black pants and a matching fedora complete a look that is somewhere between upscale street punk and high-end hipster.

He has no unmentionables to check, and his Beast is obscured by Obfuscate. He takes in an unneeded breath, steeling himself or the onslaught of unfamiliar Beasts this night is sure to bring. "Already, Eddie, this is your debut. Let's have some fun." And with that he strolls into Court with a grin painted on a face, a grin that may come across as distinctly unwholesome and leering thanks to the nature of his curse.

[Albert Baker]

Once again it was a night for Court and thus Al had made his way to the Nox. After leaving his coat and hat at the wardrobe as usually he got into the habitual silent prayer to get the instincts under control before stepping into the main room where there should already be people present. Clad in his usual attire of a grey three-piece-suit (stone grey for this occasion) with a white dress shirt, a dark green tie for a change and black Oxfords, very clean and very shiny. The outfit was completed by the silver medaillion of his faith and the lapel pin he had been gifted.

Upon entering the room he walked round, greeting the people present according to their station, though there weren't any of the office-holders present. Comtemplating taking a seat until the more important people arrived, he suddenly spotted an unfamiliar figure. After a bit of internal shudder due to not only combining a leather jacket and a fedora but also wearing a hat indoors he decided to walk over to the man and introduce himself.

"Good evening, sir. I can't say we've met, have we? I'm Priscus Baker, who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"

It's that time of year and the Savage makes his way towards the Nox Populi for this season's Formal Court. It's not like he doesn't attend the more informal Courts but the Formal Courts always tend to be a bit more... formal. He's dressed in a suit this evening, slate grey slacks and coat with a Spanish carmine vest over a cream shirt. His tie is deep maroon, tied in a Winsor knot. He makes the formalities of checking into the coat check before steeling himself and metaphorically grabbing hold of his Beast as he takes the steps down into the Court proper.

He looks around the area, seeing who has arrived yet. He gives small nods of acknowledgement to the trio of a coterie and then to Mr. Hoyle. A deeper nod is given to the Mekhet Priscus as he watches Albert make his way towards the fedora-clad man. New face. Marilyn's no longer the new kid.He gives a nod to Fast Eddie but doesn't approach, for now. Introductions can he had later. For now, he self-consciously smooths his vest and gives a tug on his coat as he steps away from the stairs to find a place to sit.

[Fast Eddie]

Eddie tenses as he feels a new Beast approaching. So many new Beasts. He gives the Mekhet Priscus a deep nod as he introduces himself. "Pleasure to meet you and put a face to the name. Both the Sheriff and the Seneschal mentioned you. I'm Eddie. Nosferatu and Carthian. Some folks call me Fast Eddie, but Ed or Eddie is fine too. How's your night going?"

Raul's nod is returned when the Savage looks his way.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

The Lady held herself with dignity and respect as she walks into Elysium. Jennifer wore a form - fitting black designer dress, tailored to her 5’7” frame. It was more daring than any dress Jennifer had worn before.

Jennifer moved to the coat check. Jennifer unwinds the scarf that she wore in from outside.
After the pins are pulled out of the outside scarf, she sets them into a metal pin case. She unwinds a white linen layer that the scarf was pinned to. As she does so, she unveils the deep and gruesome scar on one side of her neck that trails down her collarbone. Something with a monstrous maw seems to have bitten her. The scarves, pin case and a long, thin item wrapped in blue linen is checked at the coat check.

She wore two pieces of jewelry that she prized, an emerald ring on her right hand. Jennifer wore a chocolate diamond and white diamond ring on her left hand.
Dark brown eyes look over the Kindred drifting in, noting her Grace had not yet arrived. Honestly, the absence of that powerful Beast that prowled out from the Prime Predator like a crashing wave was the clue that she needed. Assured that she was not slighting her betters, her eyes focused on the Kindred who were present.
A deep nod was given to Priscus Baker, suitable for a Kindred recognized by the domain. A slightly lesser nod to Raúl, who was the Gangrel Whip. A nod to Fast Eddie.
She gives the same nod as she had to Fast Eddie to Jackson and Rufus, although she does not engage with the two.

Brown eyes move around Elysium. They tick back to see who Fast Eddie was speaking with.

Formal Courts meant reaching out to her designer and having something brought over. She was usually not very picky, nothing bright and colorful, and it had to allow movement.

But this time, she had a request. Something vintage this time.

And she was not disappointed by the dress that showed up. Sure, it was a bit flashier than what she was used to, but it strangely worked. And anyways, why the fuck not? Her raven hair was done in a low ponytail, lips a blood red.

The elevator doors open, revealing Gabriel, who stepped out and to the side, allowing the Savage to exit. The top floor was not a place she particularly enjoyed. But it created the illusion that Elysia needed, and for that, she could tolerate it for an hour or two. Cain was left at the door to her office, the risk of a breach with him was too great.

As she came from her office, she had not blushed, and her numerous tattoos stood out against pale flesh. There was a hint of a pause as she allows her Beast to rage within her, it was disgusted and angered by the sheer weakness before it.

There was a nod of respect to Jennifer Hazelton , Seneschal and friend. A nod to Albert, as Priscus. Raul gets a nod as well. Dark eyes briefly see a new face, but not much attention was spent. New kindred came and went every night, and as such, she didn’t waste time.

It seems last names aren't en vogue any more... The question is how to deal with this particular one. Mr. Ed has a not quite right ring to it for some reason...

Al thought on how to voice this tiny bit of a problem when he was distracted by the arrival of the Prince and had to spend some time to get his instincts under control. After that and the necessary respect given (a deep bow for the Prince, a slight one for the Seneschal) he focused his attention back to Eddie.

"It is my pleasure. I have had a good night so far and hope the same for you. May I enquire your last name? I happen to be more on last name basis with people."

A Carthian. That makes them three, if I count correctly... I wonder what might be responsible for this influx.

The light tap of firm dress shoes was heard as the Lord made his own approach to the soiree. The best pulled forward, ready to challenge at any who the Lord would permit it to- but this evening like all evenings before it the beast would be denied. Instead, he made certain to pay respects to the Prince with a long bow, held until certain he would be noticed. Following that, he would again bow to the Seneschal only to rise a bit earlier than was offered to the Prince.

New outfits were oh so common in Sacramento for these events, yet the Lord found himself in another dark tuxedo- the hue of violet breaking the pattern on his vest. His tie was tucked under the vest and pinned with a stud amethyst. His left breast had a pocket square of matching purples with a gold stitching. His traditional Rolex accented his wrist along with cabochon cut amethyst cufflinks.

Behind him his ghoul quickly entered and placed a box on the table before vanishing into the faceless crowd of court. "The nights have grown so short, yet there are still few things in this world like a Sacramento Summer," ​he says to nobody in particular.
