A Timely Acknowledgement

Jennifer straightened in her seat as Fast Eddie swears the oath. She listens attentively to his word choice. Brown eyes watch him closely.
He seemed genuine.

"Let's go over those points. I want to ensure you know everything that you need to.
I accept your Oath as being sincere. You are acknowledged.

Yes, it is tradition that I meet new Nosferatu family members here."
A dark green note card with gold lettering already printed is offered to Fast Eddie.

"I shall escort you to the Necropolis of the Nosferatu, our private place. All Nosferatu are welcome to claim a sleeping quarters there.

"All of my questions are minor, some maybe even pedantic, but it's my nature. All of it centers on this section," he points to the section labeled Inconcessus. "What happens when these clauses come in conflict with the Traditions, particularly the Masquerade? One can certainly conceive of a situation where interfering in a police investigation or a medical examiner's duties would serve the First Tradition. One might even need to delay a team of firefighters from putting out a blaze meant to destroy evidence not meant for mortal eyes."

"And the phrase "all hospital employees", is that as all encompassing as it sounds? Is the night janitor of a hospital off limits for a snack? Cafeteria workers too? Or are we talking medical and administrative personnel only?"

"Same question for government agencies. Does that mean strictly elected officials? Staffers? Bureaucrats? The aforementioned night janitor, only now at city hall?"

"I get the general vibe of not wanting to piss in cornflakes of individuals that could make our existence difficult, but as they always say the devil is in the details. Not that I have any desire or intention to going snooping around the edges of these spheres, but its also better to ask for clarity now than for forgiveness later, wouldn't you agree?"

He looks over the green card when its offered. "Sounds like a lovely evening, Madam Seneschal. How could I refuse?"" A grin is offered that is probably meant to be friendly, but still comes across as leering.

Jennifer smiles a bit.
"Intelligent questions." She remarks. She sobers to serious expression as she speaks. "Defer to the Reeve, myself or her Grace, the Prince. If you need to work around those outlined there, forward the specifics up the chain of command. We have had to speak with an M.E. in the past. The correct kindred were chosen for that responsibility.

I would lean on side of caution and include all employees. We don't want to have some doctor enraged someone hurt his romantic partner, who may be a hospital administrator or a member of the custodial staff.
Same with the rest of the people in your example. "

Jennifer studies the new family member before returning the smile. It took a bit to get used to this curse, to ensure he wasn't mocking her. Yet he already seemed like a good fit.
"Then we shall meet tomorrow at the address there at 9 o clock.
Unless you have aby other questions for now, we can conclude your acknowledgement. I know you likely need to make your other appointments.

"One last question. I noticed Vinculum was not listed among the forbidden actions. Or is that assumed to be covered by the phrase "otherwise interfering with"?"

"Yes, Vinculum is included in 'otherwise interfering with ', Fast Eddie."

[Fast Eddie]

"Just checking. I'll see you tomorrow, Madam Seneschal. And thank you for your time."

Jennifer bid him goodnight.
