A dangerous precipice in this event. Jennifer could take a risk and ensure her victory. Yet if she missed, Helen could take it all when she took her opportunity. Jennifer considered only a moment. She lunged straight with a light touch, aiming for Helen's torso.

The thing is still not much more than a glorified knitting needle for her, but she's starting to get used to the weight of it. Or lack thereof. The counterattack follows as she manages a swing from the elbow that would drag the tip of the foil over Jennifers chest.
