She begins to listen, “I appreciate the detail you are providing, but please remember this is not an Invictus Domain, and as such, such a detailed history is not required. Especially in mixed company.” She got it, fluff and puff, but within Court it was not necessary. Not to mention, lineage meant little to her and her decisions as Prince.

“Well, such titles as Lady, are decided by her Judex and her merits to the Covenant.” Again, meant nothing to her.

“A deputy where? Her own Domain or this one? As I don’t use my influence over the Reeve here in Sacramento to make those decisions. I trust Reeve Kingsley to appoint those to Deputy who she deems competent to fulfill the role.”

To Jacque, “So long as you are comfortable with that, then I would welcome the challenge.” She wanted to play for the challenge, not to win some bauble or bragging rights. As Prince, she had nothing to prove.

"This is what was known of Madame McIntyre, Your Grace.
I apologize for any assumptions on my part. Madame McIntyre is being considered in the Domain that she resides."

The man bowed and stepped back.

"That is good to hear." Jennifer remarked to Priscus Baker. "It was something bright to break up the nights."
"How have the nights fared for you?" This question is offered to all who stand together.
Her eyes move between Priscus Jack and the Alder Prince. Interested, yet she remains quiet.

"Of course," he responded. He would settle for nothing less than her best game. With that he made his way over to the table and sat in waiting for his match to begin.

The various Kindred continued to move around the room. Most watching those with more status with interest. One watched the Mekhet Priscus. Most watched the chess game in progress.

Brown eyes follow the Alder Prince and the Ventrue Priscus as they move off to the chess board. Jennifer remains where she stood.
Jennifer glanced to the quiet Mekhet. Then she glanced about the room. Against the wall of the room, Liam checked a message that arrived on his regnant's phone. He turned off the screen and approached quickly, wordlessly extending the phone to Jennifer when he was within arms reach.
"Remain here, Liam." Jennifer spoke in her Cursed voice. Liam moved against the wall and remained quiet as he watched the Kindred swirl around.

As no one was speaking to her, Jennifer stepped out to the doorway and unlocked her phone and read the message from the Reeve. Jennifer's eyes widened. She took a pen and her notebook from her small purse and copied the text message verbatim. Jennifer tore the paper with the message out of the notebook. She locked her phone and placed phone, pen and notebook back in her bag. Note in hand, she approached the Prince and Ventrue Priscus.

Jennifer moves through the main room of Elysium and collected Liam. There were mysteries to probe. Not investigate, for she and Helen had discussed roles. Helen was proving to be quite an able investigator, Jennifer thought.
The Lady strode out of Elysium with lady - like grace, the ghoul walking behind her.
