The Lord called on the two other unarmed contestants to enter the other mat.

Raul , it has been several days since you posted opening up the Trapped Hall but you haven't posted your roll there. Feel free to post your roll there before joining here.

You both have 48 hours to join here and post initiative and it is the expectation to post every 24 hours while in combat. Thank you!

Joshua would follow the Lord instructions and head over to the other arena, he would move to one side of it and get into a battle stance ready to fight. "Let's do this" He would exhale and lower his body since he didn't have a off handed weapon he would just be using his fists.

He would watch his opponent enter the arena, and give a slight bow of respect to his fellow Gangrel.

After making his way through the Trapped Hall, Raúl makes his way to the arena when he sees that it's his turn. He doesn't grab his coat; he doesn't need to give Joshua a possible advantage in this fight. He gives a bow first to the Lord and then another bow of respect over to his fellow Savage before he relaxes into a fighting stance, dropping his hands to his sides and crouching ever so slightly. He curls his hands into fists at his side before letting them relax. He stands ready for what's to come, ever alert. He smirks ever so slightly at the enthusiasm of the other Savage. This is going to be fun, he thinks to himself, waiting first for them to be given the keys and then he'll wait for Joshua to make the first move.

Raúl's defense is 2 and his defense against overpowering maneuvers once grappled is effectively a 4.

The Lord stepped over to remind the two of the rules. After completing he stepped back and signaled the duo to begin.

your goal is to render your opponent prone while you are holding a key and your opponent is not.
To be clear, you can render your opponent prone at any time however you will only score a point if you overpower your opponent to the mat while the conditions are met.
Best two out of three rounds wins the match.
Whomever wins the round will be reactionary (hold action to second) in the next.

Biting is not permitted. Powers/gifts of the blood are also not permitted

Please see World of Darkness pg 157 with specific attention paid to Grapple, Render Your Opponent Prone, Draw Weapon and Disarm weapon.
While holding a cylinder you have a -1 penalty to your unarmed combat rolls.

You are required to post every 24 hrs in combat, otherwise you will be treated as if you held your action to keep things moving along.

Raúl nods to Joshua once he is handed the small wooden rod. He waits for the other Savage to make the first move.

Joshua would run over and begin to attack Raul aiming to disarm him by punching his arm and attempting to grab the key, it felt weird not carrying a weapon, but it somehow felt fun to be a bit wild using a haymaker like punch at the base of Raul's hand.

Raúl smirks slightly as the other man aims that attack at his hand, easily stepping back out of the way, urging the man on. "C'mon.." he says, staying close as tries to snag the other man into a grapple, but doesn't succeed.

One swipe at his opponents hand and a successful evasion was all Joshua wanted to see in this match. He signaled his concession and left the mat.
