The current stake was driven into the chest of the second Kindred. But Ale knows...feels...it doesn't quite hit the mark. Staking was a interesting thing, requiring precision and strength. Strength she did not lack, but hitting a small target without a gun was always a tossup.

The Prince and Seneschal take the time to securely stake McCabe. Alessandra returns to her office to obtain a stake. Time and care is taken to stake Corvinus. The prisoners are transferred to the secure area where other criminals and those who offend the Prince are held.
