Circe had some options for where to have held the meeting. The primary issue was, well, she didn't want to put the work in at a few places. Her condo? Security. High Striker? She'd have to set shit up. Common Grounds? Well, that'd need Seraphina.
Circe had been lazy and gone for what was better for her. The refurbished speak easy that she'd used in the past. Private room, private bar, private against eavesdropping. Also, food. Food like the Italian meats sub and fries she was currently eating. Circe was hungry. The others could order something from the menu, and she'd foot the bill.
So she was sitting here in street clothes, jeans and rock t-shirt with a flannel vest, enjoying a meal after scrounging what she could.
As for what she'd prepared for the trip? A duffel bag full of supplies to trade. A spice rack, a couple cans of potatoes, a set of bungee cords, a set of football pads, a couple of gardening machetes, and a set of kitchen knives. Circe had looked up police auctions online. A murder weapon of some kind, like a serial killer's knife, might have gotten a lot of trade value. But there wasn't an auction coming up any time soon.
And no, Circe didn't have the duffel bag with her. That'd be odd to explain. She had a list in her pocket instead.
Now, she just needed to discuss with Jasper and Vincent what they'd be doing. Stocking up or recruiting more help.
