He pauses to take a sip of his coffee while he listens to the Wizened's warnings. "Bad fruit? That can't be good... Is this related to that rust thing you talked about back at the Solstice?"

He takes a bit of time to pocket a few pastries for the road. He's not leaving yet, but he doesn't want to rush or overstay his welcome. "Yeah. Ah'll keep an eye out there for anything strange in the Thorns.

[Anatole]

Anatole nods.

"Yes. There is a relationship. Trouble is, we're not quite sure what that relationship is yet."

He eyes the giant as he takes some pastries, the lines of his scarred face softening again.

"You do that. Its one Trod so far... but who knows how things are related in the Hedge."

[Jasper]

The Beast nods in agreement, taking another sip of his coffee as he slips another pastry into a pocket, for later or possibly for someone else. "Makes it mighty difficult but then what about the life isn't?" he says with a wry chuckle.

He looks around the room and then back to the Autumn, "Ah probably should be getting on with it. Ah've got some folks Ah wanna check on, but we should do this again, yeah? Ah mean it.. Coffee and a chat. Maybe in a bit after Spring settles in?"

Anatole nods and grunts in agreement, chuckling along with the Beast.

"Fair enough my friend. It was good to see you again. The door is always open."

Yeah. I think we are getting close to the Spring Coronation.
