Public 2: "I don't have to like a councilor, or agree with him in everything to respect a councilor. I have heard some false rumors that he spreads about me but when it comes to our society, he is the most prominent acanthus in the city and that should count for something."
Private 2 (everyone except Crystal): "He is passionate. Too authoritarian and litigious but passionate. He cares where others don't. It is unfortunate that he hates my guts but if one wants to bring change, Puck seems like the person to work with. "

Public/Private 2: "I trust Councilor Puck to have my back when I'm in the right, and to correct me if I stray to far from Wisdom or our path. Seeing him stand by what he told me privately even though he knows he won't win Mr. Popularity was inspiring, and helped me renew my faith that coming here was truly Fate."

Private 0: (to Crystal) "That son of a bitch does NOT get to disrespect you, lambast Corn, and call Phoenyx an incompetent liar and get away with it! Laws be damned, nobody gets a free pass to be an asshole. Especially if he's expected to lead."

Public 2: "The councillor stood to his principles, as I have stood to mine. That they do not align does not matter. However, it is disappointing we do not place the same value on human life. It is easy to level an accusation of "cutting corners" when you are not the one that risks killing an innocent man."

Private 1 (Puck): "No-one was set to oversee my punishment. As my accusor, if you wish to see my punishment fulfilled I will be leaving the Circle for the first sweep at 7a.m and again at 1pm each day, shifting as necessary to avoid becoming predictable. I will update you for the other times as they happen."

Private 1 (Aurora, Belle, Viggo): "I selected a Provost because I had a conflict of interest. He did not do the same. I could have killed the man I cast a spell on had I done anything else, and I am uncertain Puck would either know that or be able to do better than I did."
