It had been a couple of days since Apollo had met Puck and Moira at Sanctuary but with a couple of texts they had managed to find a convenient evening for all involved. Apollo was nervous and excited, it was a chance to learn about the free council and a chance to get to know Puck and Moira a bit better.
Apollo looked at his watch as he put the Lasagne it was enough time to grab a shower and get changed and have a few minutes to spare if any of his guests were fashionably early. If they were fashionably late he had taken that into account to, no one wanted burnt lasagne.
Apollo's place was a small 2 bedroom house with a double garage located in the suburbs. There was nothing special about the house, at least from the outside. It blended in perfectly with the other houses on the street and if anything could describe it "Non-descript" would be the word of choice.
The front door opened into a hallway with a set of stairs to the left, a door under the stairs suggested this was the access to the basement. The hallway itself was plain white, no pictures on the walls and it was pretty much the same as when Apollo had moved in. Off the hallway was a door to the right and a door at the end. Both opened into the same open plan room that occupied most of downstairs. The kitchen was at the back of the house, which opened up into the dining room / living room area.
The lounge area had a large comfortable looking corner sofa, an average sized TV and a rather ornate coffee table. The dining room had a table that had been made from reclaimed railway sleepers, and some comfortable looking dining chairs.
Around the room sat several pieces of metal artwork, on the mantle sat a statue of Apollo (The god) on one side and Hephaestus on the other. On the wall behind the TV sat an amazingly crafted sword, the closer you got the more detail you could see and it was clear whoever made this took pride in their work.
On one wall of the dining room sat a huge metallic and glass tree. It's trunk, roots and branches a deep shade of metallic bronze, along the branches sat small glass leaves. More notably the tree was split into 4 sections and a quick observation showed that the tree started in Spring and with the colouring of the glass it was easy to tell that it went from spring on the left of the tree to summer then autumn then winter. It was another piece of art that a great attention to detail had been taken. Along the bottom in a silver coloured metal read "Vita solvenda non est quaestio, sed res experienda"
Apollo finished his shower and changed his shirt, he put on some music from a band called All Time Low and relaxed while he waited for his first guest to arrive.
@moira Puck
If either Puck or Moira speak Latin the phrase reads "Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced"
