Circe had worked up her connections, unintentionally mind you, whilst trying to get the armor she sought. She made good bullets, harder to trace being custom, and folks talked about that. Circe didn't have the Glamour or the loot to keep it going. So, she was going on word of mouth and money to pay for a cheaper set.

Circe probably shouldn't have used that first phrase whilst talking to some of the skeevier guys. Well, the guy certainly regretted it after finding out she could kick him in the teeth by first punching him in the balls. So, that ruined a day of work.

The armor was in her budget and what she wanted, albeit something from at least a decade ago. At least. It was worn by time for certain. Circe could fix that with Glamour, once replenished. Replace some of the rotten parts too on her own. She'd have to customize it since it was clearly for a male wearer and not easily adjusted to female.

But Circe could do it, she had the talent! And it was the under layer holding it together, that should be easy to fix. She had the bucket for that. Probably tougher than the, probably nylon, she'd be ripping out anyway.

Or she'd salvage it to see if she could Hedgespin it with the bonely little chest plate to make some boney-fied fairly riotous armor.

Puns made her feel better.
