Jealousy wasn't a good look for Circe. Green and blue kind of clash with her shade. Maybe for camo, but not fashionable on Circe.

That didn't mean she was jealous. Envious of the departed Summer's tactical fashion, sure, but not jealous. And she really shouldn't put off the purchase. Certainly, her dreams had given her a much better look for her to pursue. But being the tactically Fairest of fighters was less important than tanking.

And someone needy to be ready to tank for fighting the Fetchmaker.

Having had one set go through the local black market recently also meant that the supply chains were somewhat still established. Circe's notoriety in the arms trade also made it easier for her. After all, nobody thought the Italian accented, arms dealing, gun maniac was a cop.

It was just a matter of bartering some custom-made rounds here and there, some words to the right meetings, and time. Lots of time.

It couldn't be that hard, right?

Too bad the ammo rain out by the third day. Damnation, she'd have to make more. Or cheat. Cheating should work, right? A little Glamour and she'd be in business!

Or not. Sure, she had some leads, but Circe felt she was wrong about Ram making it easier. More likely, such armor was rare and he'd bought the currently available set on the West Coast.

She'd need more stuff to trade. Maybe work he reloading-bench a little, get some more quality rounds, grease the wheels with gunpowder.

Circe will try again! In another thread. After she maybe gets some Glamour but certainly makes some ammo for trade.
