Hiding in plain sight was a thing, albeit difficult. Sometimes the Lost may have to move their most valuable treasure of the Freehold about. And that was a danger to consider for many reasons, for the Wyrdstone was a guarantee upon the safety of the Court system regardless of populace or foes.

Such a thing would be obvious in its importance, and strange to look upon anyway. Circe's solution? Camouflage.

Making fake Wyrdstones out of plastic and lava lamps. Really, she was faking a fake with other fakes. This amused her, but also saved time on building. The Summer Monarch could focus upon detail, making it look as close to the real thing as possible.

Not just in red, oh no no no. If it was meant to be camouflage, it had to have variety so the real deal would seem even less important. That and if there are a dozen different decoys in a half dozen colors, that was a lot more decoys.

But that was all for later, much later. Circe didn't need to plan and draft all that stuff. Not until after the boys didn't have a freak out about decoys being a thing. Which was why her current supplies were oh so different.

Red glass bottles. AA batteries. A Christmas decoration with battery powered lights. The second was fine, but the other two needed a little recycling first. Starting with a ballpeen hammer.

SMASH!

5 successes

Very easy indeed. The glass was melted into the decoy's shell. Making it able to be split open without notice was hard but feasible. The battery bed and lights secured inside, turned on, and sealed.

It looked a little like the Wyrdstone, but not exactly. Well, prototypes are prototypes after all. Maybe she could fool the boys with it? Oh, that gave her an idea, that she quickly discarded, amusement aside, she'd a reputation in meetings that was too good to spoil so easily. Wait a minute.

Why was she so responsible now?! Maybe she would juggle it!
