Although the women's acting was wooden enough to even worry Corn, it did seem to do the trick. It was either that, or the miraculous ease with which the Moros shaped the lock to his will. Either way, the path is clear and nobody has noticed the Mystagogues or rang any alarm. Things are going smoothly.

Belle beams at Corn, smile energized by faux-politeness and genuine adrenaline. "Aww! Thanks, Babe!" She skips past the gate and waits for Aurora and Corn to catch up, her expression now more focused but still excited. "So, Choker's in the garden as far as we know. I'll check out the gazebo if you guys want to spread out?" The Choker could be buried underground, or just carefully hidden in a secret compartment. All they knew for certain was it was at this address.
Belle is more than a little distracted by the gloomy atmosphere of the house, her Supernal Vision not really giving her any flashing "here I am" lights. Hmmm...maybe the garden was just a general guideline? She decides to focus more on the house itself. Maybe there was a cellar or back door they could explore?

There was a nod to Corn, “Which could mean a variety of things. Some good and some, well, not.” But she wasn’t the type to bet on it being good.
Another nod to Belle. Well splitting up wasn’t ideal, these were not ideal circumstances. So she tries to picture what a choker was in her head, and then looked for something of a similar shape. Maybe built into something? Or hell, it was probably buried. But best check the out in the open first.

"Belle, do you know what that choker is made of?"
Then, Corn spoke in high speech and concentrated to locate gold. He slowly moved around the area, trying to detect the presence of buried gold.
Detect Substance, advanced area. Corn starts from "gold" (would move to other metals if needed) and can detect it at 16 yards radius while he concentrates.
I think that catches your jewelry, if any, ladies.

Belle couldn't make anything out that helped her, so she turned her attention to the house. Circling it, she did see a back door (leading to the garden proper), but if there was a cellar it must have been only accessible from inside the house. Peering through the windows showed the Warlock empty, dusty rooms - neither particularly inviting nor promising. But then again: treasures are seldomly hidden in the most spectacular places.
Aurora and Corn searched the garden, their movements leaving somewhat visible tracks through the dry, high grass. Apart from any obvious sources (such as wedding rings and other accessories), the Moros' spell didn't bring up any results. Either his blind guess was wrong or it was buried real deep.
The Shaman meanwhile kept her eyes and her mind open. Maybe the blossoming feelings for a certain guy put her in the right mindset, because she was somehow drawn to the willow tree. The green hanging branches hung down so densely that they created a lush curtain and this struck Aurora as a perfect place for a romantic hide-away.. or maybe to hide something?

Occultation Belle's face wrinkles in frustration. Was there something she was missing? She looks through the windows like a kid trying to find their favorite toy through a store window. An old metaphor, but accurate.
"According to rumor it was carved from..." And then it hits her like a ton of bricks. "Bone! That's probably why it was overlooked for so long; people were looking for something made with metals." She whirls around to Corn. "Think you might have something for that?" Assuming it was made with magic the choker wouldn't decay like regular bones. Still, perhaps the Necromancer would have some bone radar.
She looks over to Aurora who seems pretty focused on that willow tree. "Find something Aurora?"

As she feels the draw to the willow tree, she walks right over to it. Eyes taking in the tree and the ground around it.
And while she found herself enjoying the privacy the branches created, she tried to focus on what she was here for.
Then Belle’s words caused her to frown, “Bone?” ew. But, whatever. So she turns to a less used Arcana, one that might help her find bone. But if it was buried, it would be difficult to find. Or maybe it was on the branches? Or maybe she was way off and it wasn’t near the tree.
Absently to Belle, “I just feel drawn to the tree. There is something about it.”
Aurora's only jewelry is her bracelet, which is made out of copperI did not add the mana spend to the post from a discussion with the ST

Despite the Corn's concentration on finding the bone-needle in the haystack, Fate pulled his attention towards Aurora's remark. That willow tree hid something indeed.
Fate's pull was enough to disrupt Corn's casting of bone detection, which carried with it a pang of shame for the Necromancer. Corn frowned hoping his allies didn't see the purple halo that collapsed to nothing as his not-so-enlightened will failed to become reality. The next try also failed which at least vindicated Corn. How could an adept of matter and necromancer fail two times in a row if there was not supernatural interference? Clearly the artifact was magically protected.
" Sibyl sight points that Aurora 's feelings seem correct; there is something in the Willow tree. However, I have not been able to detect bones. Not anywhere and I cast the spell twice. I didn't reach much for area, so my will should have been brought to reality easily.
I think the remaining spells of this place or the artifact's properties block such spells, which would confirm Belle 's information. If there are supernatural defenses against detecting bones then the item must be made of bone."
Corn said with the certainty of an adept-of-matter moros that has failed a basic spell twice and his pride was occluding the possibility that this is possible but pointing towards the supernatural for thwarting him.
Detect substance, bone. -2 for area. The 2nd roll should have a -1 that I forgot. Both are failures.

Belle sees a lot of dust, empty rooms and interior furnishing that matches the outside: wooden floors, quaint wallpapers, wooden panels and a old-fashioned lamp or two. There was no visible sign of intrusion or squatting, but considering how they had to focus to not just overlook the property it wasn't that much of a surprise. Other than that, there is nothing for her to go off on at the moment.
The Thyrsus uses Belle's information and looks for bones in the immediate area. Apart from the very obvious concentration of bones within herself she didn't find any other trace of bones within a yard. Which is.. strange, because in a garden as untamed as this there ought to be some rodents, birds - anything. Then again, Aurora also didn't see any Spirits when she gazed past the Gauntlet. This could be worrying or comforting, depending how you looked at it.
Not wanting to enforce typical Path-roles, Corn let the ex-Acanthus work Matter spells while he relied on Fate to guide the party. Besides, it couldn't harm to assume there were magical defenses set up for the Artifact, even if it meanttelling a small liestating careful assumptions to protect one's pride. Sybil Sight let the Mystagogues know that that tree was somehow connected to their search - now it was up to them what to do with that information.

Occultation Belle walks over to the tree. Maybe mundane methods would succeed where magical failed. "I get it; like a favorite spot between two lovers. One of those special places that just two people share." She tries to stay clinical about her description, but there's just a bit of bitterness in her words. A life of relic-chasing had left her with few opportunities for any lasting relationships.
Belle gets up close to the tree and looks around the trunk and roots for any signs. Carvings of hearts with initials; nooks and crannies small enough to hold something choker-ish size; perhaps her Supernal Sight might even catch some unmissed illusion concealing something?
"Do you and your wife have anything special like that?" She briefly looks back to Corn. Perhaps his unique perspective of being married would lend an angle that she might miss. I don't know if Aurora mentioned seeing anybody, but her Fate magic seems to point us to this tree so I'll take that lead.
