High Striker Summer Returns

[Roshon]

"I mean, I've always kind of wanted an AK," Roshon mused, ruffling the hyena mane that ran down the back of her neck, "so if you ever get one of those in stock, give me a ring. I think I'll pass on the other stuff, though. Don't have much use for a pistol or some sort of bullet eater. I mean, don't get me wrong, I want the AK mostly just to have one, ya know? It's a great bush gun, sure, but I don't even want to think about how it'd work in the Hedge, especially over time. S'why I've got the rifle and the shotty. Very few moving parts, all mechanical, hard to fuck with. Plus, they pack a hell of a punch. Even a briar wolf won't wanna fuck with a .308 or a round of buckshot."

[Circe]

"Oh ho ho ho, I can attest ta that! Wolfies drop pretty good after a few rounds from a long-arm," Circe is proud of that success. "But a pistol is a good backup, also saves ammo ta double tap the mutts so ya don't waste ammo," blue head bobs in a nod.


"AK isn't the most patriotic option," Circe faux admonishes Roshon, "AC556 would be more the A-Team. But I would only give ya a ring if it is proper Russian, not knock-offs," she shakes her head, "Russian model is crazy reliable, legendarily so. See, I got this theory," Circe leans down as she raises her left hand and waggles her index finger in the come closer motion, "Thorns has some wreck yer toys magical bullshit. Tested, lost a truck, hugged something very cute." Roshon gets to see the elf smile before the becomes serious again. "So, advanced machines breakdown in there. But if something is famous for reliability, then it is gonna resist the whole Thorns wreck yer stuff magical bullshit. Maybe even long enough ta get some magic ta it."


The elf stands up straight, "And Mr. Kalashnikov's design is ridiculously reliable. The knockoffs from other countries run from as good ta AEX Chauchat. I've a reputation fer quality products." Circe puffs up in pride. Roshon gets a smile from her, "If I found a pair, I'll let ya know as long as ya agree ta help me. I'd wanna test 'em in the Thorns. I mean," Circe shrugs, "I already got the ammo fer my carbines. Ya want me ta watch out fer any accessories? Bayonet, sights, LAM, suppressor, duplex mags?" Circe then quickly holds up her arms in an X motion, "Nope on underbarrels. Those are really hard ta come by, ammo worse, and anything I build will be kinda POS mini-shotty. Or, hmm," red and black eyes narrow as she rubs her chin, brain going mechanical. "Or a flare gun, that'd be easy enough, but still kinda shit."

[Roshon]

"Mk, mk, so you'll put the Kalashnikov on order, and then payment is money and testing it out in the hedge? I think I'd be down for that, yeah," Roshon agreed, nodding slowly. She definitely liked the idea. It sounded like a lot of fun, honestly.

"And nah, I don't need any accessories. I'll probably do some custom tooling once I get it, but otherwise, just having a fuckin' AK will be more than enough. And Uncle Sam can go suck it."

[Circe]

"Eccellente," Circe exclaims as Rashon agrees to her terms for provided firepower. "Nice ta have a fellow gunbunny in town," the Fairest muses, "Though do consider the suppressors, if yer going ta shoot Iron Side instead of in the Thorns."


Nor would she object to the idea of custom work. Circe did that herself plenty, had all the tools for it too. As for the last part, "Oh ho ho ho! My view upon federal agents but not gun laws. I fully support stringent laws, better fer business."

[Roshon]

"Hhm. Whatever, girl," Roshon scoffed with an exaggerated roll of her eyes. "Lemme know when you get it in, kay?"

Roshon turned to walk off, then paused as she thought of something, and turned back towards the Summer Queen.

"Oh, and in return, if you ever need any help with something that uses an engine, lemme know. Guarantee I could get whatever you need done faster than anyone else in town."

[Circe]

Roshon gets a smarmy grin and salute in reply to her request. As she leaves, Circe prepares to pack up the Wyrdstone.


The Summer Queen turns when the fluffy girl calls back. "Oh ho ho ho! I had a good feeling about ya. Guns and a gearhead? Throw in computers and we'd be twins. Welcome ta town, we're gonna get along just fine my friend!"


Roshon has let Circe know they have more then one similar interest. Oh dear.

"Peace," Roshon called back, a small smile twisting her lips before she turned away and headed out of the amusement park.
