The Arrow tries to step back down the corridor, moving into the light. Clearly more practice needed.
She follows Kaze as he looks around.
Didn't want to go to far since I failed the stealth roll.

Guru 's words reached Becky, her face working and moving as if she was looking for the right words, the right feelings. Frustration and exhaustion won out in the end and she gave out a heavy sigh. "No, I don't think I am. I don't think either of us is anymore." She made an obvious effort to tear away her hands from her cardigan and held them out to Guru. Her palms are sore and tender from the rough wool. "I think we can't really feel anymore, I think-"
When Kaze and Phoenyx made a move for the stage again, Becky's eyes widened and she gave out a startled yelp. Her hands flew back to her arms, scratching, reassuring. "What the fuck? What are you-?" Mistrusting eyes went from the Obrimos to Guru while she was inching back towards the dressing room where the crying came from earlier. "Leave me alone, okay?" Fumbling hands found the handle and she disappeared into the middle door.
Curiously, there were no voices to be heard from there, no questions, no comfort traded between the women.
But there was a bit of movement at the door farthest away.
Guru can make a Wits + Empathy roll.

Kaze and Phoenyx went back to what they suspected was the root of the problem. They were still alone in the auditorium and with only a few work lights on the metal tree was a monument of shadows and dull reflections. The Apostate looked more closely: there was some fine craftsmanship that went into the welding and crafting of this tree. While the design was intricate there were barely and sharp edges or pieces out of place. Small nuts or parts of scrap were carefully positioned to give the sculpture a high level of detail. But there was nothing inherintly wrong with it.
The tree stood on a wide square base (probably because they weren't allowed to drill into the theatre's floor for this heavy structure) and weighed probably around 500 pounds.
How long have the Awakened been here since the performance ended? Half an hour? Longer? Being on that stage brought back memories of that play, the audience's reaction.
Memories of that feeling of a finger running down their spine.
Guru was many things but an empath wasn't one of them. Self centered egoist was more close to the mark in most cases, it just came with a nice smile. He only had deductive reasoning to work with, for as far as that would take him at least. He frowned, taking her hands in his own, rough but not overly callous. His care was genuine and it only grew into worry with her last statement.

The movement, the disruption broke the moment and shattered in Guru not any of the wiser. "They were jut leaving. That's the way out." He said weakly to the door as it closed, his hand swiping at the air in defeat. Left there alone with his thoughts, and to eaves drop. But it was then the last thing she said before the interruption clicked in his mind. Was that what was happening here? Emotions out to emotions in, they were being drained of their emotions as it was being poured into the audience. But why and how? Most importantly how.
He was surprised Phoenyx and Kaze hadn't seen anything yet and he was hoping Puck was ok with Malcom alone, he held back and hovered for that alone. He held back from chanting just yet, not knowing how on edge they were going to be after that door closed. He had to take his time, his knowledge in that field was only Initiate level for now. The yellow glyph adding to his pattern and causing immediate discomfort. It was too much for him to handle and he knew it.

But it was an avenue they needed to cross of or verify even if that's all he can do to help was eliminate an option or point to a direction then so be it. He opened his eyes to the Gauntlet to check it for activity.

There it was again. The tingling of her spine, the intuition that something was trying to affect her.
Investigation tried her patience when nothing seemed to yield results. Doing things right and getting no-where felt like an anathema to her.
She took some steps back, trying to view the stage, find the source of the magical disturbance. Maybe then she could do something to it.

Guru 's answer fell on deaf ears and thus the Shaman directs his attention to the Twilight. The hallway revealed itself as a washed out, smoothed out mirror of the Material Realm. Colors were barely pronounced, beiges going into greys going into whites. Here and there he could find some remnants of what the playhouse might have looked like across the Gauntlet in the past: pastel pink scrapes of heavy curtains hung without rhyme or reason from walls and ceilings, but while he was watching he saw one of those pieces fall down and dissolve into thin nothingness. The space seemed more claustrophobic, as if the walls were closing in on Guru when he wasn't looking.
Ssss..
There was a sound, barely noticeable: like skin sliding over a smooth surface. Guru's keen senses picked it up and following the sound he could make out the last two digits of a finger disappearing behind one of the curtain pieces and the Thyrsus could basically watch the last bit of color, of life drain out of the piece of curtain.
Another movement, caught in the corner of his eyes but this time he wasn't quick enough to catch what was causing it. Another one.

Spirits? Something else? Or did his mind just latch onto his flash of brilliance, causing him to see connections that weren't there?
Kaze and Phoenyx held their emotional ground against whatever was happening here, carefully turning their attention to the tree further. The Arrow took her time to focus on it, trying to see the bigger picture. She could be certain by now: the object itself was mundane and there was no Awakened Magic of any kind at work. As far as she was concerned, her methodical approach also might have pierced through veils or other obfuscations.. so what was going on?
She couldn't put her finger on it, but whatever was happening felt unpleasant, nasty, and simply wrong. The tree wasn't the source.. was it an antenna? Or was this a case of spatial coincidence?
Guru was a bad Shaman, he only knew a bit about Spirits. There was the risk of the abyss as usual but when dealing with the Shadow there was a whole other ecosystem, other world of consequences he could unleash upon himself if he accidentally kicked a hornet's nest. Everything that was happening right now? Yea, that only reaffirmed his decision. He'd only caught a glimpse of an appendage. Could be human, could be something else, but everywhere he looked curtains were draining and that sound. If he heard a loud siren he swore he was out of here.
That fear began to build inside of him, adding on to the discomfort the contagion caused him. He took a deep breath, trying to steady his nerves as he looked around too. At least it gave him something to scrutinize for now that he was alone in the hallway. Alone. And his skin went cold, hair standing up on the back of his neck.

Let me know if you want more Scruitinize rolls, if it's a Werewolf Gift or Spirit Numina I'd get +1 Die.
Kaze looks around carefully, making sure there are no witnesses other than Phoenyx at least, and then steps back away from the tree to a vantage point where he won't be as easily seen and heard as he was standing right on center stage.
Then he tries again to use Correspondence to see how the tree connects to people and things, this time incorporating chanting in High Speech to aid him in forming the spell, though he chants as quietly and surreptitiously as possible.

"Whatever it is, it isn't here," Phoenyx grumbled. "It's connected somehow, but not an artifact of any kind. Nor the talky one nor the nervous girl were Awakened. It looks like they were pawns rather than understanding what was happening."
She looked around the auditorium, eyes settling on the technical booth. "Perhaps they were... If it wasn't the people or the objects, something in the lighting or sound? It would explain the connection." She looked to Kaze watxching as the spell weaved around him. "You said you had studied Space," she said, keeping her voice low. "Can you sense a connection from it?"
