From the lobby she can hear the ruckus and she knows that things aren't exactly going according to plan. But she needs to stay there, and watch their backs.
From the lobby she can hear the ruckus and she knows that things aren't exactly going according to plan. But she needs to stay there, and watch their backs.
We're going to drop into initiative at this point. Vincent , please roll your initiative at the end of this round so we have a place for Titania in the list.
Initiative Order:
Michael (the Fetch) 16
Trip 15
Circe 13
Gerrit 12
Ram 8
The Second Floor
The Door splinters and breaks under Ram's powerful grip with resistance barely noticeable to the Summer. It flies open.
Stood behind the dest is the Fetch, it's eyes wide in fear and utter disbelief. A shotgun is pointed straight at Ram's chest.
"Holy fuck... You can't... you can't be real...."
The First Floor
A point of clarifiication - Circe cannot get up behind Ram - there is Gerrit and the other Firefighter between where she started and where Ram is. She got up behind Gerrit. I read back my post and saw it wasn't fully clear, so sorry about that. She can whisper to Gerrit still instead.
Hearing the door crash open on the next floor, the fireman does a double take and starts moving quickly up the stairs. "Sarge!" he yells, moving out into a run for the next floor.
Ram can hear this coming from below. Circe and Gerrit can see him move.
The Ground Floor
Even 2 floors below, Titania can hear the breaking of a door. Quickly this is masked by the heavy footfalls of someone coming from upstairs.
Circe is next to go.

Um, cazzo. Well, this could be going better. No, no recon for how many people were here. Couldn't have waited for Circe to try to find something to knockout the mundies. Even a week and she'd have found maybe a tranq-gun or something, but no.
She wasn't keen on killing the mortal fireman, but she'd broker no interference. For now, her gun was back in the holster. When the mortal comes into range, Circe will do her best to drop him with a solid kick, maybe knock him down the stares or something.

Equipment
Sorry, failed to keep track correctly. Circe didn't have time to get aught to handle bystanders, so she is down to fist and feet for stopping the mortal from helping the Fetch. Plus, Gerrit is blocking the stairs up. She may start shooting if she has trouble.
Anxiety bubbled inside Gerrit - Ram barged forward facing the Fetch alone, they'd got the attention of uninvolved colleagues and they were anything but subtle. Plus, he hadn't seen Titania since things turned chaotic. Hopefully she was just keeping their rears covered, but with no way to know for sure Gerrit would have to try and not focus on thoughts like this.
It was hard, though. Running almost empty on Glamour made the world drab and colorless and he was feeling his lack of sleep the last few days. But this was not the time to pity himself: he watched Circe engage with the other fireman and made a snap judgement. Ram probably needed his help more.
He made his way further up and towards the direction Ram has been storming off, trying his best to stay unseen. Maybe he could flank the Fetch and get a drop on him, maybe he could distract it to give Ram an advantage of sorts.
3 successes
Seeing the Fetch point a shotgun at Ram did several things with the Stonebones. For one, even with their Ogrish physiques a shotgun was a serious threat. More importantly: this was the first time Gerrit has seen a Fetch since.. well, since he'd come to learn that his life had been taken by an impostor. Sure, this one wasn't as personal for him, but the point still stood. Fetches were a threat and shouldn't be allowed to simply take over ones life. Hopefully he could find a way to get close to it without being seen.
Equipment: Backpack - First aid kit, Rope (from climbing gear).
Shadowpatch (+3 to Stealth)
Hardened Mask
Ram is up.

Shotgun.
Ram’s instincts kicked in. There was a question in the back of his mind on why and how a gun was pointed at him now. However, in the moment, there was only one response.
Destroy the threat.
Now!
Ram’s hands reached out and grabbed the gun. He could feel it bend slightly in his grip but it wasn’t enough. What Fairy had made him into wasn’t enough!
“I’m real,” he growled at his dopplegangrer, as if that would help shield him aginast the weapon aimed at him.
She taps her finger against the wooden counter. Who knew that watching another's back could be so boring.
She pushes the button to lock the front doors, before checking the cameras.
Ground Floor
Titania begins closing the doors. The shutters clack down loudly, helping mask the sounds above. The cameras show the communal areas and outside but not inside the offices, so she can see the first floor fight between Trip and Circe unfolding but not Ram or the Fetch. Gerrit is similarly no-where to be seen.
First Floor
Circe can't quite make a kick with the distance to cover, but is in time to throw a hand into the next stairs up and grab the firemen's leg, sending him clattering into the stairs.
Gerrit make his way silently across the first floor, staying behind sofas and tables. He can't get up past the firemen on the base of the stairs, but that man has only eyes for the Fairest grabbing off his pants at the minute.
Trip whirls around, looking for the source of the hand.
See through the disguise
Spot Gerrit
"What the hell? Get the hell off me!"
The fireman scrabble back to his feet, dropping into a defensive stance and paying no attention to the new hiding place of the Ogre. If he stays focused on Circe, maybe maybe, Gerrit could get around.
Trip spends his turn getting up and returning to the first floor to face off Circe. His Defense is 2.
Gerrit , to make it to the next floor next round will need a Stealth roll if you wish to keep being unseen and/or a Strength/Stamina + Athletics to get up the stairs and to the office in a single round.
Circe can apply teamwork to the stealth roll using a social/brawl roll on their turn if they wish - If using teamwork, an attack will do no damage. It will also be Circe's action for the turn.
Second Floor
Ram lunges and grabs the gun in an iron grip, but the Fetch refuses to let go.
4 successes
He wrenches the shotgun baout of Ram's grasp, knocking him back a few feet, and levels the gun back at the Summer Ogre.
"I saw you in my dream. What do you want from me?"
This close to the Fetch, Ram can feel the contracts of stone ebbing away, and with it, his enhanced strength. The contract ends prematurely, as if the connection between them will not allow the power to defeat his simulacrum.
Scourge , remember to record your Willpower spend in the Power Icons.
Also, Ram still has contract of Stone active.... you just gain no further benefit from it to attack the Fetch, either directly or indirectly.
Michael's defense is 3.
Titania is up!
As a reminder, the House rule of 1/2 Willpower pool total is in effect for willpower available per Plot.
