"Given enough time, I should be able to convince her to cooperate with us. If all else fails, we could attempt to read her dreams", they weren't exactly out of options. The problem was winning Frances' resistance.

Well, they were out of words. Not surprisingly because if their words were going to echo their action, the pile of problems would just compound and become taller than Mt. Everest
Either way, she finds the silence unbearable.
"And buy her something nice... as an apology", she asks... no she orders the gender-blind Ogre.
Though she knows full well that he isn't exactly swimming in a pool of gold.
"Don't worry about the price. I'll cover. But it must be something you know she'd like", no better way to introduce a man to both desire and politeness than shopping.
"You want me to buy her an apology gift? That I'll be presenting?" He asked with raised eyebrows. That did not seem like a good idea, with or without a Fairest contract in play. "Like on her doorstep kind of thing?" She still hadn't given many specifics of her plan but the only other place he could think for this to go down was either at a bar or in a church.
He frown slightly before finally shrugging.
"Okay, I can get her some whisky or wine or a variety pack or something," he agreed.
"Oh, yeah! Buy her, like... chocolates! Or a pizza! Pizzas make great apology gifts," she nodded, not at all thinking with her stomach. She never does that. "The whiskey will probably get your foot in the door, yeah. Frances probably could use a stiff drink, that's for sure."
The Beast thought a moment, then nodded some more. "Have it delivered, with, like, a note. Don't show up out of the blue, or sneak around her home. That'll scare her more."
"We just need to get close enough to work our magic", she says.
"Nothing illegal or violent. Just a bunch of concerned friends paying her a visit"
"And what do we do when we find whatever object has the curse now? Or what if whoever is behind this is there?" he asked, since taking it or breaking it seemed out of the question. She seemed to be assuming everything would go smoothly and they wouldn't need to resort to 'impolite' actions. Maybe that's how it was for Fairests. But Ram's experience, even his most recent, said that something would go wrong. And it would probably be his fault.
He took another deep breath. Trying not to stress or tear apart Titania's plan. After all, he hadn't really put this much forethought into things with the necklace. It wouldn't be fair to deride her for the same now.
Not the enemy, focus on who is.
"Should we try to bring anybody else on?" They'd lost one helper soon after this started. Maybe another set of new eyes would be good to make sure they weren't all being pulled down the crazy tunnel together.
Sonnie considered Ram's suggestion of bringing in someone else, tapping a finger against her chin. She perked up when she had an answer. "I dunno, maybe an Autumn? They understand how magic works better than anyone, right?" Was it a good idea to get anyone else involved? She wasn't certain.
"Well", she shrugs, "we could definitely inform Rhodes or Anatole. But what if they decide Frances isn't worth the effort?", she says, letting the implication hang midair.
“Anatole kind of already knows,” Ram said a little sheepishly “It came up when we were talking at Funderland one night. He asked if it would be okay to let Rhodes see the broke necklace and,” his horns itched “I kinda said yes.”
“Maybe we don’t bring then fully on board but it might not hurt to get an Autumn opinion on what to do beyond steal or break the next cursed object from her we find. And get a read on whether they’d try to off her while we’re at it.”
He didn't know Anatole that well but the guy did look up to Titania. And while Rhodes did seem a bit too 'fear is everything', the Fall monarch had shown himself willing to help in arcane situations. In fact, the only crown Ram would really worry about trying to kill Frances would probably be John and a lot of that was because of the reputation Winter had as parttime assassin.
Sonnie shrugged. "It's fine. It's not like this is some top secret conspiracy among us. Frances could affect the whole freehold. If you wanna bring in an expert from the Spooky Bunch, go right ahead."
