She stands back, willing to let the gentlemen scout for danger before she dives in.
To a first examination, the whirlwind reminds her of her own wisps. Unlike them, however, the wind can interact with the world on a physical level.

The ‘creature’ is still invisible but after a few seconds, Liam can feel it. It felt like his hand was sticking out of a car window. Currents of wind played within his fingers and the cracks of his bark, making his arm sway up and down like a sapling. Much like Titania’s dress though, even though it was gentle, there was a definite forward pull on his arm as well.
Colonel Worm and Titania are both quiet and they can hear the wind dog whistle through Liam's pine needle hairs and the grass below the giant's arm rustles softly but constantly.
Colonel Worm
Liam feels the wind currents swirling around his arm, sees it swaying in the friendly breeze. It feels soothing to him; maybe its the Wyrd brain talking, but something about the wind flowing through his skin makes his smile a bit softer and voice a bit more quiet.
"What're you trying to tell us, little guy?"
The wind doesn't answer of course. Liam honestly begins to feel a bit sleepy; his arm droops just a bit and his eyelids start to close. And that's when the pull jerks him into wakefulness and almost off his footing.
"Maybe it wants us to follow it?"
The Ogre glances back at Worm and Eleanor, looking a bit sheepish at nearly being toppled.
"Think so," Worm replies to Liam.
He nods toward the playground a little way off, in the middle of the park. "Looks like it's leading us thataway."
With that, Worm continues his transit, heading toward the playground.
It's been a while since he's gone down a slide.
"Be careful", she says, somewhat still too careful to plunge headfirst into whatever the creature was baiting them, "it could be luring us", she looks around, still suspicious.
A couple seconds after Worm starts forward again, the wind pulling around Liam’s arm vanishes. A couple seconds after that Worm feels it surround him instead, playing against his back and his clothes. It works to not only push him forward but also to buoy him up. If he’s held an umbrella in a wind storm and felt like he could use it to Mary Poppins his way up, that’s what it feels like now. Like if he jumped he’d go soaring at least a couple feet into the air before gravity caught up, only without the umbrella of course.
Of course, Titania’s words of cation also echo across the field. Colonel may know about where the twister is taking them but they still don’t know why.
Liam feels a bit sour in his stomach as the breeze leaves him. It was almost like the older days, before Arcadia, when those long walks in the woods gave him a sense of peace. But seeing Worm yanked off the ground reminds him that there were more pressing concerns in the present.
"Easy there buddy! Worm can't fly like you can."
Stretching his arms out, Liam lays his massive bark-like hands on Worm's shoulders to prevent him from sailing away. He gives the Goblin a once-over to make sure he's alright, then looks back to Eleanor.
"Oh, right. Gotcha."
Ashamed at letting his guard down, Liam falls in line between Goblin and Princess and begins moving towards the playground. Though he can't help but wonder what harm such a playful creature could be.
Guess I need to remember that not everybody is as big as I am.
The wind-thing catches up with Worm and, while a little disconcerting, the feeling is still a thrill. "Whoa..." he says, looking a little unstable at first.
Quickly, though, the Colonel gains his bearings. In fact, he's about to take a leap, to try things out, see how high he can go...
When a massive arm hand lands on his shoulder, firmly anchoring the Goblin.
"Hey!" He says, sounding a little indignant. He spins on Liam and, for the briefest moment, there's anger in his eyes. Then he mellows.
"Oh, yeah. Thanks, pal." He turns back around and continues on his way toward the playground.
"Where you leading us, friend?" he mutters, feeling a little silly talking to the wind.
Eventually, curiosity gets the best of her, as she merrily follows the two men in their pursuit of the wind buffet.
Who knows, maybe it's the start of a grand adventure.
They group arrives at the playground with the wind dog whistle on ahead. There are your standard playground fair, a small climbable fort-like structure with slide and swings, but there are also a variety of interactive aspects that would make this a child’s dream (and possibly a parents nightmare). Sand swirls around the small twister as in heads into play area.
The canine outline becomes much easier to see and more obvious as mica particles get caught within the internal eddies of the wind creature. You can even see it look back at you to make sure the Changelings are still following before it ‘pads’ over to a water play section.
