(Broken Cycle) At the Speed of a Tik Tok

"Whaaaaaaaat?" she looked confusedly at Titania. "You mean... someone secretly filmed you while you were cosplaying? That is so wrong!" Sonnie shook her head in angry disappointment. "I'm so sorry, Ellie. I understand that you would want to keep your life as a furry to yourself. Nobody should out you like that!"

The Beast was a woman of many talents: Martial arts, athletics, speed eating, wrong conclusion jumping...

"I suppose it might help. The Huntsman might be attracted to deer women. We.... could lure him into a trap! The old honeypot play! Good thinking, Bambi!" She gave the Telluric an encouraging fist bump on the arm.

"You haven't seen it yet, Yami? It actually just popped up on my phone as I was walking through Funderland a minute a go." She turned towards the Succubus, "I'd show you, but you shouldn't use the internet in the Hedge. Weeeeeeiiiiird things happen." A sage nod, "Maybe once we leave."

The Monkey gave a friendly wave to James and Cassandra. "Yo! Sup?"

“Ironic.” He smirked as Sonnie was talking about Ellie being a furry, you know, cause Monkey. He took in a deep breath and sighed once Sonnie finished and he could get a word in edgewise, Yamiyo being the one to bring the conversation back around to some sort of productive sense.

“Yes, can we please get back to the task at hand. You had an idea, what was it?” Nodding his agreement along with Yamiyo agreeing to help. Assuming they could all stay on task that was, he’d do what he could but that could only go so far. He hadn’t moved currently, his thoughts still split on turning back around and heading out the well. Giving a small nod to Sonnie when he was addressed but trying not to give her further ammunition for sidetracking the issues. We could crush up some adderall and slip it to her in a banana.

Everytime the Monkey opened her mouth, it was to utter nonsense. And even if by now she should be used to it, she still found a daunting task to not address her directly... with a beating stick.
Nevertheless, for this time only, she lets it slide. "I'm not the one who has a full room of naked men and mating dinosaurs in her dreams", she delivers with a flawless smug.
"We need to weaken the Huntsman and his powerbase. I proposed we do that by rewriting his tale with a targeted social media campaign. While the Verdant Court finds out and overwrites his desires", easier said than done. But still beats charging at a Fae headfirst.

[Cassandra Reeding]

Cassandra's eyes widen a tiny bit as she then looks over at the Beast. Huh...

She nods at Ellie's plan and then speaks to elaborate, "The plan we have come up with thus far is to create a song for a TikTok. This song should be catchy with the lyrics rewriting the story of the Huntsman, as Ellie has stated. I can compose it, and help is certainly welcome in that department, and then we record it. We select both a 15 second and a 60 second snippet of the song, which is how the TikTok videos work. Ellie will choreograph and make the full video. I learned a bit about making videos in school, but if anyone knows more, that would be welcome.

"If we can make this go viral, the masses will know this story. Thoughts? It seems now that Ellie is a bit famous for another TikTok, so that is going to help."

While she is asking the lot of them, her focus is more on John. After all, Winter's job is to make sure they don't go too hardcore and out ourselves. That, and she wanted to get a better look at his shirt...

Softly giggling as the adorable monkey spoke and imagining Titania as a deer furry, quickly stopping as she were called Yami and speaking in a soft kind tone.
"Sadly not, but just give me your username when we leave so can I find you there." Taking out a pack of MM's and handing it over. "Hungry?"

Dreaming herself a way for a brief moment as the dream comment arrives, that didn't sound to bad. Snapping back and taking in the rest of the mission.
"Hmm whilst I do not know if that will actually hold an effect so should we perhaps go a bit deeper." Taking a deep breath. "First of all ask Seraphina to sing, if we do not reveal that it's her so would she perhaps agree to do that. Second so whilst a tiktok can reach a lot of people so is the question if the story works locally of globally as a fuel source?" Far to many tales spoke of far to many different views. "So what I suggest is that we also locate various Spanish, Chinese, Korean and Italian servers and try to brew up some talks of it there or record the video in various languages. We can also create memes, if anyone know anyone famous that can speak out so would that be good. If we can find someone on Youtube that makes videos talking about history and or folktales so could we have them spread the story as well. Furthermore so should we ask Rhodes for as much information as possible in regards to the actual story that is in the world." Looking towards John "I know that you learned a great deal but what we need is the story people know so that we can spin it from there and alter it to half truths, the story will go down better if there are pieces you already know or that is there and easy to find whilst we alter the parts we need altered."

Tapping her pencil against the block.
"If we also create both a tale and memes so could we find various facebook groups and share parts there to maybe get some effect as well, in addition if we can get some Instagram spread so would that be quite nice, once again in as many languages as possible since each extra person we can reach would be in our favor."

Taking out a bottle of aloe vera water and taking a sip as she realizes what a flurry of things she had just thrown out.

"The dinosaurs were your creation, darling," she patted Titania on the shoulder, "You were so eager to ride them, remember?" The naked men part she didn't deny, and didn't seem the slightest bit embarrassed about.

"Yes, the task at hand! C'mon, Ellie, focus! Enough of your silliness!" Sonnie winked at the Bright One and turned to listen to the others. "So we wanna do a Slenderman kinda thing? Create an urban legend online, but this time we make the monster... less scary?"

"Oh!" Her face brightened more than usual, "How about the DuckTales theme? Once that tune gets in your head, it's impossible to get out for daaaaays!" The Beast smiled and nodded, "We tailor the lyrics to be about the Huntsguy, and also we can avoid the inevitable Disney lawsuits by claiming it as a work of parody."

James had no idea what Titania was on Sonnie about but it sounded like a story. He had to keep an eye on those two though, he knew from previous experience there was tension there. But he remained silent for now as Titania and Cassandra went over the plan, now really confused as to why he was here. This was a Fairest and Spring endeavor, he wasn’t really one for social media. Nodding to Yamiyo, giving a half shrug when she suggested going to Rhodes.

“he’s not here and we’re planning now, I’m not the best at research and don’t have much access to lore. This does sound like something you might be capable of though with your library access at the University, yea? You do have a good point though; the best lies contain grains of truth in them.”

He looked to Sonnie and took a breath, this was what got him in trouble with Seraphina last time but she wasn’t around and he was the one in the mess now. “Sonnie, can you please stop trying to rib Ellie. This really isn’t the time.

“I’m not really tech or media savvy, what do you need me to do?”

For a moment she's almost tempted to come to the Monkey's rescue. Nobody chastises her pet friend. However, ALMOST is the key. And although her body language might betray her conflict, the smirk upon her face tells another tale. One of "Aha, you deserved it"
But this flux is short-lived, because she's quickly back into business mode. They needed a plan, it was up to her to bridge the divide between intentions and execution.
"So... I was thinking that we might rewrite the Huntsman's tale with a story of our own. One much more favorable to our cause", she says, pausing long enough to let her words sink in. Truth be told, not only she's taking time, but she's also trying to gauge their reactions.
"We'll author and direct a series of short videos. Hopefully they'll gain popularity on social media, and we might be able to talecraft his story. I was thinking about one of those lip-synced songs, with a short choreography to match. Since I'm already famous... well kind of, I'll be the main performer, just lip-sync a short song I'll brainstorm. Cassandra will provide the soundtrack. Sera will be the voice and tailor the costumes. As for Yamiyo and Sonnie, they'll act as the judges and side dancers. Think of X-factor, they'll vote the performance and we'll broadcast their reactions", she then looks at John Jeff James,
"You'll be the director. The man behind the camera, making sure we don't expose ourselves too much. Now we need to decide which kind of content we want to produce? Entertainment? What about the costumes? Sexy? Cute? Catchy?", she says half embarrassed

Cassandra nods in agreement with Ellie's plan, "Yes, that is the more specific gist of it." She smiles, "I was personally thinking more sea shanty style. The catchiness is ridiculous of that factor and we can team it up with bi-pirate and some cottagecore TikTok related things. Those are two huge sections on TikTok."

She has another idea, "If Yamiyo could teach Ellie how to sign the words for the song, we get that community as well. And I'd love help gathering information for the lyrics of the piece. Anyway we can weave a partially true story would be best."

She looks to John then, "I need another strong minded Winter to make sure we are safe here. We need to be careful. If we are too deep in, we need a second opinion." She definitely echoes Ellie's opinion there.

She then looks back to Ellie, "You'd look cute in a lot of outfits. Thirst traps are a popular segment too, but you'd look cute in about anything."

Feeling a bit surprised as the monkey didn't react to the MM's offered, rattling the tube for her.
"Here Sonnie dear do you want some MM's?"

A nod towards James.
"True he is not but this whole operation might take a bit, I do have access to it. In addition so is it also in the field that I am studying so I doubt it would raise any eyebrows for me to check it out." Wondering if and how she should defend her fellow spring, the comment wasn't really mean and to meddle would most likely just get things worse, instead just giving the beast a warm kind look and smile before making a silly face and softly giggling as she quickly returns to normal.

Listening intently to Titania's words and taking notes.
"As a base so does it sound good and of course I can teach her how to sign the needed material as well Cassandra however some slight changes. First of I cannot be in the video, trust me my appearance is not meant for being in front of a camera and will just create the wrong image." Yeah no camera. "I do can take the story and spread over various forums and popular places for Spanish, Chinese, Italian and Korean speakers to frequent or help translate it into those languages though." That was more her style. "In addition to seeking out places online, I am far from a computer expert but social media is right up my alley." Mostly for stalking but they didn't need to know that.

Giving Cassandra a look and then back to Titania.
"Hmm that would depend on the song, first of whilst cute is definitely a selling point so can it be hard." Cute often needed more to work perfectly. "A themed costume with slight hints of sex appeal would most likely work the best and with your beauty so will it be a hit. Think more temptation than revealing." Perhaps her own ideals were messing around a bit here though. "However if you wanna double play it so add something cuter for our adorable monkey here."
