Rick ran his fingers through the misted feathers atop his head once more, sparks and jolts of electricity dancing between flesh and clouds. "We don't want to search blindly unless we have no other choice, it's always best to narrow down the possibilities if we can." He looks around a bit, seeing Terri with a phone to her hear. It's easy enough to guess who she's calling, and he shouts to her. "Did you get through to him?"

Swilla turns away from Alice as Nightfall appears beside him. He nods to the Archer and makes his way back inside to watch over the Queen.
"It is a pleasure, Dorian. Perhaps we speak more conveniently at my shop, Treasured, in the next few days." Katrin's eyes seem distant as in lost to her memories. Swilla takes her by the arm and guides her gently away from the Mirrorskin.
Terri holds a finger up to Rick and nods while speaking before hanging up. "HAL's safe. He opened a gate to get back to his home. He is there now. He is heading back to speak with the police."
Asia notices the thick tire tracks of an SUV or 4x4 vehicle, and lots of spent 9mm shells littering the scene.
The sirens grow louder and closer until the ambulance and accompanying police arrive. They take the injured away and cordoned off the area before taking the details of those in attendance. 'Private party' is the reason for being at the skating rink, and it is accepted by the police who ask only a few questions before allowing the changelings to leave, especially after the Autumn Sovereign arrives and takes control since Katrin isn't available.
Finally, Derek pulls on the Contract of Omens and stares at King Crunk. He sees, not immediately, and only postponed by the man's sheer love of life, the death of King Crunk by the end of January in a painful battle with his wounds.
A time of upheaval is due, and it begins now.
