Titania invokes the Clause, the isn't met and the Glamour rises from where their hands connect. Under the eyes of the Lost, and the Hobs, though Wacker's were not upon their joined hands, but upon the Fairest's face, being oh so close to his, they see the supernatural manicure in action.

The worn workman hands, fill out. Roughness smooths, and he warts slowly decrease in size and several disappear entirely. The putrid pallor, is rejuvenated and gains a healthy glow.

"By the Thorns." comes Spokeshob, his voice feeling distant in this moment, "Didn't think she's actually do it."

"Thank you milady! Thank you!" the Hob smiles, wide, toothy and impossibly earnestly, his fingers twitch and lightly wiggle, even if he refrains from moving them out of the Fairest's grip.

"Now, what do you want for that?" Spokeshob asks, cutting off Wacker's joy.

[James Turner]

James just stood back, this was Titania’s negotiation now and he didn’t know if she was aware of it but this could cut either way. Without a formal pledge they could take it as a gift and move on, then the Spokeshob spoke and cast that thought aside. Seemed they were at least somewhat honorable and would hold up their end of the bargain. Seems their time here was going to be fruitful after all. He just kept an eye on them trying to keep them honest.

[Anatole]

Anatole makes a sound as he watches Titania work.

It is not a chuckle; nor is it a grunt; and it is not a sigh.

The sound is both inarticulate and up-beat. Probably a bit of longing there, too. The dwarf still remembered the surge of warm energy that accompanied the Fairest's magic.

[Sonnie Wu]

Sonnie watched in fascination as Titania healed away the Hob's gross, warty hand. She was always impressed with the Bright One's command of the Spring Court's renewal magic. That it also seemed to win the creatures over was also impressive (though obviously the whole point).

She smiled and nodded energetically to Titania to encourage her to answer Spokehob. She stayed right by her side so the Fairest would feel safe.

[Titania]

"There, there", she says with a soothing voice, her warm hand perhaps overindulging over the hob's own in order to pet the beast. "Why don't you tell us about Sal and his ruins? Believe me, we can keep a secret", she winks.

[Saber Sloth]

The Lost around them are silent as Titania works her magic. Legs, slinks back to the cart, obviously and obnoxiously pouting. The Spokeshob's lip pulls up as he begins to snarl, stepping forward, hand on Wacker's shoulder about to pull him back from Titania's grasp, but the newly manicured Hob yells out - "Sal's one of Them!" the fingers jab harder at Wacker's shoulder, "Don't know what happened to Sal's Flesh Market, but it's in ruins. Ain't been cleaned up. A Statement, see? An' Sal....Sal ain't nowhere either." the Spokeshob loosens his hold on Wacker's shoulder, shoving him forward in disgust. Turning to the cart with Legs, barking out at the other the get the cart set up to go.

"But our contract was called in, fer the stall. Shouldn't 'ave, but it did. Didn't know what we was gonna do when the Spider moved on and we couldn - "

"Shut yer gob! That's enough to pay a debt. Ya ain't called to give more." Spokeshobt snarls out, voice loud as he stands from the cart. "We are leavin'" he commands.

Wacker is obviously torn, looking between the Spokeshob and Titania, "Milady," he bows, hand reaching but not touching before he moves, movements reluctant, towards his fellows.

[James Turner]

Well they didn't get the where it was exactly but they got a lot of interesting information. A missing Other huh? Wonder if that was true or if they had just left. Either way it'd be good to know where it was in case Sal ever did return, finger on the pulse, yea? The hobs had gotten one on them and thanks to Titania they had gotten one on the hobs. He didn't think there was more fairer dealing than this when Hobs were concerned.


"Well..." He asked the group, they could try and shadow them to the market to find where it was located or just take what information they had and go home. One road and many branches.

[Anatole]

Anatole watched the hobs vanish into the green haze of the Hedge before responding. He let his axe slide from his grip until he could use it, head down, like a post he could lean on.

"My vote? Go home. Take stock. So we missed the market - but we found a trader at least."

And I note how long this thread has taken. This is a decent end point.

"Flesh market?" Sonnie's expression darkened, more so than it had with the whole leg thing, and her grip on her staff tightened. Like many Changelings, so had no tolerance for slave traders.

Shifting her gaze towards Anatole, and nodded. "Sucks, though. I really wanted to see the Spider."
