(Market Watch) Possible Permanence

There were two offers on the table, one for glamour and one for an open ended favor. Luckily Wacker had calmed back down a bit he looked from Wacker and Spokeshob to Sonnie, he thought there was a play here to pit the two against each other but it could easily overstep his bounds and piss them off. He had to let the Springs drive this one but try and keep things civil where he could.

[Anatole]

Anatole's fingers tensed on the haft of his axe. He grinned at the hob, baring his teeth.

"Ah. Well..."

With some effort he managed a sigh. It was not very calming.

"I guess I don't have much to trade at the moment."

He managed a shrug and began to back away from the increasingly boisterous - and aggravating - hobs.

"We should finish up here and move on."

He spoke for the benefit of his Lost companions. They needed to conclude any further business and get the hell away from the hobs before things turned sour.

A pledge for information about Sal's ruins? Wait, who's Sal again?

Sounds like a raw deal.

What kind of favor could he ask for? In less than a week?

I don't like this.

Why do i want to know about these ruins again?

What if his info is of no use? What if the favor is to give a leg to his creepy friend?

Sonnie swallowed nervously. A glare was thrown towards Legs before she looked back to Wacker. "Thanks, but no. I don't need to know that badly. We'll just head for the market." Best to stay on task, right? No need to get the party lost on a side-quest.

A nod to Anatole, "Shall we go?"

War is the continuation of diplomacy by other means.
Except that not much diplomacy had been going on.
Ok, Anatole was scary and the hobs doubly so. But should they really be happy with stepping back and never knowing who Sal was?
"Ehm, Mr. Hob. I couldn't help but notice your magnificent hands", she whispers hoarsely, stepping between the creature and Sonnie and finally out of her own bubbly comfort zone, all the while looking at the beast's langly fingers, "I'm sure you must work hard, although, those warts must be very painful. Why don't you tell me about our end of the bargain, while I work diligently to get you rid of this ailment?".
It's all about the way you look, smell and sound. The right tone and cadence, those which empathize the right words, tongue falling rhythmically upon them. Appeal to their self-interest, by giving them generous terms and an even more generous view.
And if the creature allows, her fingertips will gently draw circles upon the hob's open palm."I'm sure we can reach the most pleasurable agreement", smile and wink.

There is silence, and denials, the Spokeshob snorts, turning his eyes towards Wacker. Who sneers, lip up and yellowed teeth exposed, ready for...something. A something that would no long see the light of day as Titania works her magic.

Legs shrieks out expletives and expressions of jealousy and the beauty of Titania's lovely, lovely, legs, and how it was not fair that they wanted to wrap around Wacker...

Contrary to all expectations, it's the Spokeshob who wacks Legs upside the head, as Wacker is completely struck dumb by the Fairest's entire attention, jaw slack, and hand seemingly only held up by Titania's offer alone.

"Heh - " a sputter, a sound slips through his lips because he has to make a sound! He cannot let the Fairest thing he was uninterested!! "Yes!" his fingers spasm, the spindly digits twitching blinding, towards the Bright One.

He was used to Titania being so full of authority that he’d unconsciously expected her to lead the negotiations. Seeing how she hid behind Sonnie and Anatole he saw there was a story there, Hobs were untrustworthy on the best of days but something told him there was something deeper there. As she did take charge she did it in the most unexpected ways. Though he hid the smirk that wanted to play across his face, she was playing their game against them. Expectations, words, they all had double meanings here playing the hobs expectations against themselves just as they’d done to the Lost. If so this would be a good pin in the evening. He kept his eyes open, watching the hobs and making sure Titania was ok. She was Sonnie’s charge first, sure, but that didn’t mean he would be ok with the hobs pushing things any further.

[Anatole]

Anatole is speechless!

Probably because he knows what it feels like when Titania gets work and soothes away your physical hurts, pains, ailments, and broken bones.

Does he look jealous?

Yes he does.

[Sonnie Wu]

Sonnie blinked in surprise at Titania's sudden burst of initiative. Apparently the goblin market would continue to wait.

She opened her mouth to speak, but then thought better of it and let the Bright One do her thing. Nobody could charm like a Fairest. She resigned herself to keeping a careful eye on the Hobgoblins. Titania's safety was her responsibility, after all. Sonnie never strayed far from the Telluric.

Did they really have time for a manicure, though?

And so it beings the painstaking process of giving the poor hob a manicure.
Not to say she's actually giving the creature a manicure. Just a contract would suffice. But one needs to keep up appearances.
After a few minutes of massaging the creature's spindly fingers, she can say she's satisfied with a job well done. The Wyrd pushes through her hands, invigorating the Creature's own.
"Here, how does it feel?", she says with a smile.
