The Beast was, indeed, not very shocked to see the battlefield was basically gone. So much the better, really. The Tavern (and the Treehouse, though her Hollow was secret) didn't need dangerous scavengers in the area. Hopefully, there'd be no more Briarwolves around here for the foreseeable future, too. Hopefully.
Dressed for a Hedge excursion, Sonnie was decked out in durable outdoor wear: Blue jeans, a green flannel shirt over a black tee shirt, her red hedgespun boots and a black beanie. Her messenger bag was slung across her back, and her hair was worn in twin braids.
The Monkey was eager to see a Goblin Market. She loved them! There was so much to explore, so many hobs to meet! Still, the Monkey tried not to let her excitement override her caution. They were still in the Hedge, after all, and not a (relatively) safe part of it.
"So, Bruenor," she said to Anatole, "What are we looking for? Tracks? Noises? Flyers posted on trees?"
