[Jennifer Hazelton]

Jennifer checked the materials that she had prepared and held them up to the locations as they followed Alice. She also made a rough sketch on the grid paper as they moved, mapping thier progress. If a turn was made, she made a mark on the wall with a piece of chalk so that being lost was not an option.

[Alice Hart]

The Wraith writhes, as Mabel joins. Alice, however is old hat at it's keeping.

She nods her strings pulled nod, in greeting to the woodswomen.

Silent greetings done, Alice meanders her way through, having no eyes, the Doll focuses on other things. Kindred one and all are able to Heighten their Senses the world around her comes alive. Boots crunching the ground, debris destroyed underboot, in the distance she can hear dripping and the triumphant cries of the night hunters. Owls devouring rats. Wolves, and coyotes and raccoons...each and all slowly fading into white noise as the rush fades and Alice focuses on the task at hand.

Dirt Nap finds a surprising amount of fresh collapses, most of which are confirmed by Jacque to likely be intentional -- construction teams are often forced to collapse the old tunnels to be up to code. Others, Mable can confirm as old, old enough they're on her map.

Despite the best efforts of the navigators, they get turned around several times; while some may have doubted the utility of Jennifer's marks, it was unlikely any held doubts by the end.

As Dirt Nap samples the soil of yet another collapse, confirming it was recent, Mable sees there should be a tunnel on her map. Then, Jacque confirms the area above them should be abandoned, and Alice notices something odd, the increasing familiar sounds of sewer life was absent. Bingo. Mable can confirm there should be another way in, and circling around, the group finds that the path is also recently collapsed.

What do you do?

[Dirt Nap]

Dirt Nap whistles, softly. "Looks like something or someone don't much want anyone poking their nose into this." He says quietly.

Turning to Alice Hart, he asks, "You're call, Ma'am. Do we do some digging, and try to see what's the secret? Or let sleeping dogs like?"

[Jacque]

Jacque glances around as he follows the guidance of the map, only to find collapsed tunnels around the area, "We could always try to scope out above this area, since there doesn't seem to be a path left open down here." Just adding an alternative to digging. His eyes shifted over to the Seneschal in anticipation of her response to Dirt Nap.

[Mable Wood]

Mable looks around in frustration. Then she lets out a few squeaky noises. (She is trying to call to any rats in the tunnels.) If she receives a response she will ask about the other side of the tunnel and any open paths.

While she waits for any responses, "Well, scoping out another entrance might not be a bad idea. But I'm curious why both sides were collapsed. If we can just dig out a little area I could try to get a peak in." She made little flapping movements with her hands. Those who know her knew she could be a little bat.

[Jennifer Hazelton]

Jennifer secured her map in her bag and moved closer to the area in question.
"I don't have much experience in this, I defer to those who do." She responds, her Curse slithering forth.

"I am going to see if any one has noticed us." She says this bit quietly to not detract from the important discussion, but to inform the others where she was going and that she was not leaving the party.
Jennifer walks a bit the way they had come, staying in sight of Dirt Nap. She looks the way that they had come to see if any one was taking an interest in their investigation.

[Alice Hart]

"Well, we haven't come all this way for nothing, now have we?" when given the option, the Haunt will always, always go forward. Even if that meant dirt, and blood and slime, and worse.

"Though, be warned that the natural sewer sounds are absent, either blocker, or rerouted by whatever is....blocking access."
