The tiny spiders quickly move away, vanishing as suddenly as they appeared. The cocoon that they sags open, a dry wrinkled hand falling out. A human hand. It is a withered husk with talon like fingernails.

@Emily_Makerith When an azlu becomes a swarm, only 1 of those tiny spiders carries on the spark of the original. The rest will whither and die off. This is a particular nasty advantage of Hive Mothers, one which also eventually kill the host body off. "Save?" Is asked as Chris looks down at Emily from the top of the pole. How the hell does fighting a bunch of spiders turn into saving? Then Chris looks around and sees the hand. "o fuck"

One arm firmly around the pole Chris reaches out towards the wrinkled hand and tries to grasp the wrist just past it for a better hold. If he can get a solid grip he will try to pull the person? out of the cocoon.

The dried skin husk of wildly mutated elderly lady tumbles out like snake skin. When gripped tightly it starts to crumble, but adjusting his approach Chris is able to pull the remains out. Whomever she used to be there was nothing left of her, but perhaps with some ingenuity she could be identified.

Seeing he needs a hand, Emily shift and rolls up to the Dalu form.

"What you got, Chris?" She calls up. "I think we may be best just getting out of here." There were no nerves in her voice. There was just too much amiss here to be comfortable. They were not in control, and that was a risk.

Seeing the horde disperse, Tiny moves to guard the rest as they deal with the remains. He's no expert, and will speak up if he notices something.

Lips curl back in disgust as Chris carefully moves the horror-movie knockoff. "Looks like they Men in Blacked someone." One hand holding onto the ..skin.. of the person Chris adjusts himself and begins trying to make his way down the pole as carefully as possible. Emily will be pissed if this ..person crumbles.

"Agreed, that's what I would do if I had you all waiting around a corner." Something that led to a few fights back home but that's the difference between a loud Talon and a quiet Talon. Chris is completely comfortable howling in from a side into a brawl.
