Suns Out, Guns Out

[Sonnie Wu]

There was a big grin on Sonnie's face as Coco hurled the water at the Summer Queen. So much drama! She squealed in delight, "FOOD FIGHT!" Quickly, her hands reached for an edible to chuck at someone... but found nothing. Her power bar had already been eaten. "Oh, right..." she pouted.

"We are the Court of passion, you know. Passion can run hot, sometimes," she said to Circe, nodding sagely. "Spring leads into summer, after all."

The Beast turned her attention (mostly) back to Anatole "Yeah, they probably won't invite anyone for sleepovers, will they?" Her empty hands tapped fingers on the tabletop. "Do you think their Hollow would be made of ice? Like an igloo?" That would be so cool!

Ha! Cool! Get it?

[Coco]

The noise Coco made could hardly be described as anything besides a choked scream of rage as her foe dodged aside like it was nothing and proceeded to taunt her like nothing had happened, and without another word she turned and stormed away.

Later, she'd feel a little ashamed. Mostly for Sonnie. And Anatole, a little, but mostly for Sonnie. As for Circe, all she knew was that hate had taken seed inside of her, a hate she really couldn't explain. It wasn't just the annoying demeanor of the other woman, it was something else. Something that was much more deeply rooted in her psyche, something born from memories so fantastical, and so terrible, that her mind couldn't even comprehend them, and yet the sight of the Summer Queen had set them stirring...

Coco exits the scene! Feel free to proceed, I'll close at the end of the month

[Circe]

"Oh ho ho ho ho, what a delightfully angry lil' bee!" Of course Circe was pleased with her victory, as most trolls were. The buzzing in rage was familiar, triggering memories of pain and joy for some reason. She could have shouted some cat calls after Coco but that memory flash delayed the [s]taunt[/t] er farewell.

Then looks back to Anatole and Sonja, "I heard something about igloos. Theoretical, sad club's houses, or the refrigerator brand?" Circe decides to add, "Were ya wondering about getting a fridge fixed? Because I can't do jack if the coolant is the problem."

[Anatole]

Anatole can only stare as the aggravated Beast exits the scene and their company. The look on his face might be described as 'confused' - a confusion which only grows when Circe begins talking about refrigerators.

The wizened gives Sonnie Wu weary glance.

"I have no idea. Why not ask James Turner when you see him next? Better yet, offer suggestions! I am certain he would be very interested in your ideas."

The dwarf grinned wickedly and gobbled more of his, now cooling, meal.

[Sonnie Wu]

"Coco?" she looked after the departing Wasp, a concerned expression on her face. Watching her trade barbs with Circe was one thing, but the Dancer seemed genuinely upset, and Sonnie didn't like it. What was that about?

"Uh, what?" Distracted, she looked at the Iron Spear, wondering why she was going on about refrigerators. What did that have to do with igloos?

The Beast turned her attention towards Anatole, "You think so? What about Angel? They're, like, made of ice?" She nodded, "I bet Angel would love an ice palace!"

Her gaze returned to the now distant form of Coco, worried about her newest fellow Spring Courtier, "You think she'll be okay?"

[Circe]

"What what?" Was her confused reply to Sonja's confusion. Circe had no idea what she'd missed while playing with Coco. "Huh?" She looks back and forth between the Sonja and Anatole. She didn't have the conversation at all. "Okay, yer talking about the private pads fer the cold crew?"

As for Coco's storming off? Circe just waved that off, "It is fine ta left yer anger out now and then. Healthy even in my opinion! Maybe it'll help her be less serious, I mean why so serious?"

Yes she imitated Heath Ledger with the last part.

[Anatole]

Anatole coughed.

"Serious? She's Emer... Eh! You probably remind her of someone."

He turned to Sonnie Wu

"Maybe you should go after her. I don't know. You should know her better than me. Sometimes you just need space to cool off. Sometimes you need someone to sound off."

He shrugged.

"Never a dull moment..." The dwarf was turning back to his food.

[Anatole]

Anatole munched contentedly.

Shall we wrap this up? WE've hit the month mark.

[Sonnie Wu]

"Hmm," Sonnie shrugged and stood up. "Guess I'll give her some space." After stretching her arms and legs for a minute, she smiled at the other two changelings. "Anywho, I'm gonna continue my workout. Later, folks!"

With that, the Monkey turned and started jogging off along the trail, her tail bouncing along behind her.

Sorry! I forgot Coco had left the scene and didn't realize it had been my turn for the last week! The marbles tricked me! Anyway, good to close! Thanks for the scene, everyone!
