Briar Rose moves towards the temple. She passes burning braziers on the way. They give off a sense of heat.
The Temple stands on a stone platform and is formed by many stout columns that hold up a large roof. Shadows cling thickly to the interior, making it is quite dim despite the bright daylight. If Star moves to keep up, he'll recognise a number of Shadow Sculpting spells enhance the gloom.
He'll also be aware that some Fate triggers were just activated as well.

Aaaaaaand there she goes. Like. Girl. The point of Scruts is, y'know. Doing it before. Not after. Woo. Exhale. Loudly. This is the supernal equivalent of watching someone walk through the forest catching every tripwire and dragging grenade pins with each step.
What's the Star Wars line?
I've got a bad feeling about this.
"Little late," he muttered. "Like, be careful? Got some conditionals pinging off."
That first instinct is to oppose force. It's natural. Something pushes, you push back. Remember: nature is designed to teach by failure. Turn the Crypt Kingdom's lock with a glitter key and feel the bone-chilling rush of Stygia. Fingers used to fanning celestial flames push out, splashing as much of the shadows as he can in the glowing glyph he's formed, sculpting their darkness back and away from the pair.
I'm unsure of the arrangement of shadows, but the goal is to part them rather than trying to contest their density.8 successes to Shadow Sculpting

| "Oooh, awww." Briar Rose coos, half sarcastically, though, really, she's kinda impressed. This is some cool af shit right here. You just didn't get chances to do stuff like this. Or she didn't, looking through temples, and seeing those tiny details, feeling braziers heat, or smelling the salt on the air....
She does some more looking around, blithely unaware of what she might be doing, with her straight up disregard to caution or forethought.
"This is me being careful. I'm not slamming into things, or breaking apart rocks or anything." she says, impressed, her awe and joy tempted by the wrongness of this unhealing place.
The the rest of his sentence pings through her thoughts.
"Waaait. Conditionals? What kind of Conditionals?" she says freezing in place, looking about. While imitating a carp when she catches sight of Star "I there anything you can't do?"

Briar Rose heads to the temple and blithely looks around. The temple is a very good simulacra of a grecian temple. The shadows help hide the interior, which would have been a dimly lit shrine under normal circumstances. Here the space reveals a stair well that leads down...
Star simply parts the shadows as Briar Rose explores. Parts... and plaits the strands he has fashioned, to keep them all nice and neat. And out of the way.
The shrine is revealed: bare of alters. With a stairwell leading down...
And over there... A three headed wolf-beast that had been standing motionless in the gloom. Now the beast stalks Briar Rose, apparently unaware that the shadows that would have hid its approach are now... elsewhere.

But he can See. Everything.
"Like. I can do just enough to know what I can't do? That's a saying, right?" Keep it casual. Don't look at Cerberus. Maintain the illusion that it's still hidden. "You know. Conditionals. Uh. Fate things. On the next full moon, that sort of thing."
The next idiot that walks up this path.
"Don't stare, but. Our ten o'clock. Got a bogey, Photon."
Because clearly he's Avenger. Have you seen this hair?
Star is looking for traces of resonance to ascertain if the beast is a spellcraft construct.

She feel like. Well. She's say blonde, but that was blondest. Wanting to slap her own face, she drops her Sight, swapping it with the Sight of the Sybil. Maybe now, she'll see exactly how she fucked up, and why. Now.

"That sounds like a reference." she says, looking but not looking. Eyes, Fate lenses on, Star and not, whatever it was. Probably right behind her. That might be poised to roll over her, and squish her à la Indy. Oooor. Eat her. The very Greek feel, gave big points to the something wanting to eat her.
but that wont happen. she'll eat them first.
"I understood that reference." she says, bringing right back around.

Cerberus is moving. Stalking. Picking up speed as it closes on Briar Rose .
The Thrysus is completely oblivious as she switches up her Sight. Lacking Supernal Vision, she still cannot see the interplay of spellcraft that Star witnesses. But she does experience a peculiar telescoping sense of vertigo, as if the bowl shaped depression - indeed, the entire dream space - seems to converge on the temple.
The temple has a heavy weight and a solidity that makes the dream of the island fade into insignificance.
Star can only watch as Briar Rose remains oblivious, standing at the threshold of the temple with...
... Danger...
Rapidly closing in.
This Cerberus is no creation of Supernal spell - thought it may have been enhanced, given the Glyph's trailing behind in its wake. This Cerberus is a function of the dream scape and it is very, very, physical.
If Star wants to ascertain Resonance he'll need to roll for Scrutiny. Thanks to his Supernal Vision (and his spell's Potency) I can confirm that Cerberus is denizen of the dream space and has been enhanced by some spells.
Star would be able to obtain some more information if there was more time...
Unfortunately for him, we are heading in towards combat as the beastie rapidly closes with the distracted Briar Rose...
