As Jacque spoke, Twist's gaze narrowed, her focus clearly on watching and listening to him. Trying to catch the difference in his words, the power that his blood added.

Watching as Erin performed to the letter what he had laid out, she reached out to touch the woman reassuringly on the shoulder. "Thank you Erin," she said with a smile.

Glancing over Erin's shoulder to see Jacque's motion, she caught the meaning and turned back to Erin.

"But I feel like maybe that isn't what you truly want to apologize for..." she said, her tone warm and inviting, her hand still holding the woman, steady and strong for whatever she had to say.

Or so it felt to Erin.

It only took a moment, and then with eyes going big and apologetic, Erin began to speak. WordsConfessions pouring out of her in a torrent that was nearly incomprehensible.

Dark eyes flickered up to look at Jacque even as she murmured soft reassurances that all would be forgiven to Erin. Had he caught it?

He watched carefully as Erin subconsciously followed his instructions. With Twist's words he was almost too eager to critique. For an attempt to mesmerize she was much too vague for it to take hold, but then suddenly... she confessed. She confessed to everything of any degree following no sense of time or logic and just kept talking until there simply wasn't anything left to say. This wasn't Mesmerize, no- this had to be the Daeva's power.

Nearly stunned with the display, he realized how that might tie in with the true power he was seeking. Majesty appeared to compel the truth while Dominate would lock away the lies. Dark eyes met his as he began to walk over to the two. "Erin," a slender finger lifted her chin so that their eyes met, "When you hear someone snap their fingers, return to the center of this stage and curtsy." Breaking the trance he asked the conscious girl to do something of her own volition, "If you would please, make your way up to the theatre's doors. The faster the better."

As she scurried off the stage and up the aisle he turned to Twist, "That was quite impressive, your Grace." A side-eyed glanced to keep track of the girl's progress, "A practical application of my skill is setting up a trigger such as I've demonstrated. This helps distance you from the results of the foreign suggestion, making it less likely for the victim or bystanders to catch on to the manipulations. Only one set of instructions can exist at a time, so Ms. Erin is making her way up the aisle all on her own." He paused for a moment before adding, "That was quite the litany of confessions you pulled from her. If you have any concerns of lasting trauma from releasing such a comprehensive list of sins, I can provide her a more pleasant memory of this evening." He smirked as he looked back to the girl, and with an overtone of judgement and indifference he muttered, "They're such fragile things, after all."

The subject nearly making it to the door, he raised his hand and pressed his thumb and ring finger together. *snap*

Watching Jacque work withon Erin, her dark eyes traced the path that the other woman made.

A faint nod of thanks at the compliment. "I can see the advantage that comes with distance as well as the ... exactness of commands." Dark eyes flickered to him for a second, her thoughts briefly gone from the theater and learning disciplines, turning instead to views and blood.

Blinking, she returns. "Yes. It will not always be so dramatic, but occasionally you can expect such." She paused to watch as Erin's steps stopped so quickly after his snap that the two actions nearly appeared simultaneously. "It is not always confessions either. The ability simply encourages an individual to share what is normally not spoken. It will be up to you to attempt to direct what type of words they share."

Erin's steps brought her to the center of the stage where she performed a curtsy, straightening to look at the two Kindred, the faint flickers of confusion starting to show in her features.

"I appreciate the offer, but no thank you."

It was one thing to learn dominate, another entirely to think it was any sort of solution.

"Thank you Erin," Twist called out, motioning the girl to come closer with a reassuring smile. As she did as bid, she glanced to Jacque, "Shall we continue?"

We are approaching the 30 day mark so I'm good with wrapping to a fade to black as the two continue to teach/learn if you are?

The Lord nodded as the Daeva confirmed understanding the finer details and moved to explaining her power of revelation, "I can see why a command of the skill would aide in achieving the devotion I seek. The discipline is magnificent in its own right." He reveled at the potential applications of the power, and wondered what would be unique about the devotion that revelation couldn't do itself.

The decline of his offer was not entirely unexpected, but met with a smile and a subtle bow of his head. The girl wasn't his toy after all. At Twist's call to resume instruction he turned to face her in affirmation, "Of course, the night is still young after all."

And so deeper into the night do the two Kindred work. Teaching and learning in turn.
