Emily quickly grabbed the big lug. BW followed suit- now in Urshul. Nathaniel goes in for a grab- first slipping, before finding a good hold on the second attempt. In any other situation, he wouldn't have been given that chance. Hence the necessity of it all.

Bleeds Well growls when Matt shakes him off, with an enthusiastic leap he's upon the larger wolf again, snatching the Rahu's leg up in jaws.

And this is the danger of practice, the warrior feels his primal nature boil up within him, the Rage threatens to take control. Sometimes you need to break things, sometimes the animal wants to destroy something beautiful.

But the Purest of Clarion's Call is the master of his primal nature and controls himself.

Nathaniel could have shifted- and indeed, in the past he would have immediately lept to Urshul. But he'd started to train to go without- he couldn't rely on it all the time.
