What the fuck? What the fuck? What the fuck? A repetitious rendition of confusion tears through her mind as the shrieking begins, inhuman and ear piercing. Briar Rose wonders, as she's shoves off to the side, for Winter to run passed her on the stairs, is if the shrieking continues, will her ears begin to bleed?
She swallows, again and again to sooth her aching throat. She needn't have screams so loud Winter was already on his way. Butwhat the fuck? what the fuck?with everything, she was.
She turns and heads back up the stairs, unknowing if she will be useful for the Guardian and the...Star. Who'd made an Abyssal Creature scream.
Maybe she can guard their backs, they hadn't explored more of the house, not really. Who knew what would come up at them from the stairwell, and the rooms on the lower floor, especially now with the-that thing shriek.shriek.shrieking.

Whoooooo.
Lotta Mana in one go, yo. Head rush like shot-gunning a drink; that gasp when it's gone, but at the same time a new emptiness. The battery's been topped off for so long, the angel's almost forgotten what it feels like to really spray glitter.
"Jeez, shut up."
Dot's already working his nerves. Gross and loud? It's making it hard to concentrate on Yakko -- or what's left of Yakko. There isn't much left for Winter; blue-green eyes skittering to find and acknowledge the other man with a twitchy bob of his head, struggling to parse the meaning of what he's getting at.
Electricity.
Streams.
Right. That's a thing for angels. Except... this one.
"I suck at it," he answers bluntly. Not the time to be coy about skipping class. "Gun?"
That's punctuated with a point towards the hole in the wall.
Sorry if Star seems deliberately obtuse or terse, just trying to be respectful of the fact that control of the Marionette needs to be maintained.

Winter arrives on the first storey where Star lurks.
Winter see's Yakko and Wakko struggling still in the narrow doorway. Yakko is down but unbelievably holding on - grimly - to Wakko; which is only serving to drive Wakko into an even greater frenzy. And so far, it is working! The Abyssal creature is completely oblivious to anything other than Yakko's ruined form.
The other Abyssal monstrosity simply dies tearing itself free of its mode of passage. It is a bloody mess that even Briar Rose can see from the stairs.

In the Mines of Moria, Gandalf held the door against theBalorBalrog while the rest of the Fellowship merrily fucked off.
It's about the same now, except that this time around it's a beefed up Frodo who's doing most of the holding, and the rest of the Fellowship sure as hell ain't going to leave him hanging.

The blood is thick, vibrant, virulent, and dripping. The Guardian is doing something, and Star is down to his last...well. Maybe not, Briar Rose didn't know. But, both of 'em are there and things look to be well in hand. Probably.
No, she frets, and exults. Then asks, "Anyone see any thing fucky on the first floor, or is it all up here?" Did she do away with her fingers for nothing? Were her talons going to go unbloodied?

He can't feel Wakko, but he feels his weave shredding from the solidness of something like burlap into something thin and delicate like a spider web. Like Dispels gnawing away at it. Man, that sucks. He liked Yakko. Shame no one was around to see his birth.

Winter's doing something and Rose is talking while he's giving last rites. Good timing.
"You ready to get all Rhonda Rousey on this one?" he called out to Pinkie & the Claws. "Getting ready to need a new chew toy."

Winter moves and flicks the cigarette butt with confident ease. The smouldering embers sails through the air, arcing past Wakko, which is too busy screeching as Yakko finally comes undone...
There are several flashes - as electricity is drawn from the shattered ceiling space below... and guttering candles flare far more than they should...
Wakko was clearly not expecting to be engulfed by a small fireball.
Fortunately for Star Briar Rose and Winter the fireball was more like a puff of hot wind, sending up a cloud of dust and debris, by the time it reached them.
It was much more spectacular under the Sight - as the Demesne completed its collapse and the vortex burned itself out.
Wakko is still standing. Smoking comically. In the doorway.

Never trust the tobacco industry to be truthful, even in their law mandated warnings. Because smoke doesn't always kill, and the one pissed-off looking motherfucker standing by the doorway is the self-sustaining proof of that statement.
A gust of hot wind scrapes the sides of his head, and the unexpected wave sends him stumbling a few steps back before he even has the time to duck.
He coughs. Is it the dust or the other thing?
Whatever, at least they shut that thing down.
A callous hand reaches instinctively for the iron, finding an empty holster instead. Damn hippie laws.
Can't even trust the NRA to do its job right.
Time for Plan D.
In his left pocket there's a small dagger, attached to it, the beads of a rosary. His left index and thumb gently pluck at them.
His mind is gluing together pieces in a consistent manner, making them into overlapping charts. His will provides the form, but the Golden Key pours in the meaning. And the truth is mapped into a lower dimensional space, sigilized by the white ink of mana.
An arc of electrons, nature's lifeblood.
He's casting the spell on the space separating them from Wakko. The spell is unclear about what the base size (without having scored a success for it) would be, maybe it's enough to cover the cramped up space in the alley. He'll actively concentrate on the tass to electrocute the creature. It's just bashing, but whatever.

...Was that Star telling her to get herself a set of fangs and the powerful jaws to match? Or was it just a Starism? Because talons?
Well. Winter, did a well. She thought Obrimos were good at lighting things on fire. Which Man. Poor show for the Guardian, was it all the never ever do teh cool magic policing that just made him bad at it?
Pushing herself to the forefront. She'd been called to preform some violence, and fuck, she wanted to know what that thing's blood looked like on her talons.

You'd think this guy would be unsurprised by things getting blown up. One, Obrimos. Two, Dr. Dolittle just did that too. But he's not that kind of angel, and an arm reflexively flies up to shield him from... the hot gust. Welp. Guess Dolittle and Winter have something in common, right? Poor Yakko. Let it go, let it go. It's probably comical watching Swole!chinchilla struggle with the backpack. Those shoulder straps aren't loose anymore. He's still fighting with it when B-Ro gets feral and eyes widen but his mind goes blank trying to think of something to stop her from getting electrocuted.
No, wait.
But he's got nothing. At least the pack is finally open, and he reaches in to pull out a .40 handgun to offer the other Guardian.
