Public 3: "He stood with me during the incident, gave me the chance to be his voice, but the duel proved that his words were not wise. I hope he has learned to grow from this public display."
Private 2 (Free Council): Dude practically hid behind the duel."
Public/Private 2: "Powerful, but Might does not always make right, as we saw."
Public 4: "The outcome of the duel didn't particularly demean my opinion of the man. It's what led there - the buildup that's it - that it was telling"
Private 3: (Guardians): "He's a honest man that too often balks under the pressure. Then and only then, he shows that he's not above twisting the laws and our traditions in order to fit his needs. I wouldn't hold against him if it wasn't the veil or our mission that most often are being thrown under the bus. Needless to say, a comfortable throne leads to complacency. I know, though, that he means well"
Public/Private 3: He KNOWS things, lots of things. If he says a fact is true, I absolutely believe him. I am not a hundred percent sure of his Wisdom in how he would say to deal with the facts. Being Hierarch seemed to be more of a sacrifice than a calling for him.
Public 3: "Don't really know him, but that last meeting, I sure learned a lot."
Private 3 Morgan : "Gah, I still want a nibble but that Duel. Man." a low disappointed sigh.
Public 4: "In my view, he tried to lead this Consilium to the best of his ability. He lost the duel, true, but it's better to try and fail than to never try at all"
Private 4: "You are dethroned for five minutes, and look at all the people doubting you. Some of us base our opinions on more than just if you have the '#1 Wizard' hat, though.
Public 2
Some time, at one point? He stood up to light the path. And that means something.
Private 4 ( Guardians )
He didn't have to reinstate the Council. That means something, too.
Public 4: His loss does not lower my opinion or my respect for him. He has stood and defended this Consilium when no one else would, and he would help any of us if we needed it.
Private 4 ( Campanella ) : When you get the time in your schedule, I’d like to sit down and talk with you.
Public 4: Magus Campenella has tried to direct the Concillium in the way he thought best. He earned the position of Hierarch through the Duel Arcane, guided us through turbulent times with Seers, and he sought to end as he began. I have a lot of respect for him.
Public 3: "Campanella seems quite accomplished and respected here in Sacramento."
Private 3 (Guardians): "He fought his duel and lost, but if the experience humbled him then perhaps he can be led to light the path again."
