The man sputters, eyes wide, darting, yet focused upon Sonnie. He flails ineffectively, no force behind the tugging of if arm in the Monkey's grasp. Instead his efforts are for his breath, to force his lips and tongue to shape and expel words.

"Gon-gonna Take me then?! Gonna Take me and stitch me, and eat me! Lil-like He did!? Huh? Huh! What else are those fangs for you monster!"


Titania makes her realization, and her satisfaction sours, withers and dies. Blooms gone and only Lead remains. There is only one thing she can think of that could do this. Make a tag, wyrd burnt and painted into a building, showing the duality that the Lost know deep down in their bones.

This is a calling card, a declaration, a favour left behind....

Anyone who actually knew how to fight would probably be able to break her grasp. It wasn't as if Sonnie had him in a wrestling hold. This guy wasn't much of a threat. She kept her guard up, of course. Her animal instincts kept her on her toes. She just needed to calm this whackjob down.

Like He did. Was this man talking about his Keeper? Was he fresh out of the Hedge?

"Whoa! First off, how dare you. I don't make fun of your hobo beard, so please don't mock my teeth. Second off, monkeys don't eat people. You're not a banana, so you got nothing to worry about from me." The Beast tried to maintain a soothing tone, and present a friendly demeanor, the latter of which was standard operating procedure for her. "What's your name, dude? I'm Sonnie. I'm not here to hurt you. Let me help, okay?"

He hocks back snot and swallows around it, baring his teeth, from some latent instinct. Snarls at Titania, "Fuckin' freaks! Monsters!" He yanks his arm, fear and anger fuelling him, "Any more of you fuckers commin' out of the woodwork!?"

This guy had no mien? No mantle? Yet he could see her teeth and tail! Sonnie was... confused. Well, if he was fresh, then of course he had no mantle. And some changelings looked very close to human. Maybe there were fae features about him she couldn't see right now? Maybe his mask was hardened?

In any case, the Beast had no time to ponder. Titania quite rudely interrupted her attempts to calm the guy down, and in fact just seemed to set him off.

She had seen various degrees of dumb, but right now she thinks the monkey has just broken a new record, setting the precedent for a unit of measurement.

She should wack her head with her bag, sure it could cause no further brain damage, besides she could heal it afterwards. But she steps back, fearful of the monkey's violent and instinctive reaction.

If Sonnie had fur on her body beyond her tail, it would all be on end right now. Her agitation with this screaming man who could see Miens was rising, and she hated that. She didn't like being mean, but her feral side was feeding on the chaos.

"I am NOT!" she snarled. Comparing someone to the Others? That was a pretty deep insult among the Lost.

However, the Beast was snapped out of her hostility by Titania's brief words. Hot passion turned into a cold shiver. Eyes widened, and her head did a quick swivel scan of their surroundings. Worried eyes turned back to the maniac.

She'd been assuming this guy was a newly arrived refugee from Arcadia. But if he wasn't... if he was just a mortal who'd seen too much...

"You! Is He here? Have you seen Him?" Once more she looked about, obviously concerned. "Where? How long ago? What did it look like? Just tell me and you can go!"

She didn't want to be here anymore than the Fairest, but the freehold was going to need information. Anything Sonnie could get out of the crazed man would be good before she and the Bright One skedaddled.

Please, for the love of god, don't let it be that one! Not the thing from the jungle!

They have been wasting valuable time, time that would be better spent putting as much ground as possible between themselves and this place.
A Keeper was nearby and they needed to disappear as quickly as possible.
But clearly the monkey hadn't learned anything from Sir Abe's Death. First she had left her alone to pursue a stranger - despite her pledge to protect her, what a liar - assaulting the poor man to boot. She was sure that at least a Statute or two had been trampled.
"I'll ask nicely one last time. Could you two be so kind as to follow me to a more crowded place?", she says with her honeyed tongue.

Snot and tears leak and trail down the man's face. He gives a whole body flinch as the monkey snarls. Giving a pathetic whimper, his raging confidence evaporated in the face of fearanger from the other.

"I-I-haven't Him since...." eyes wild, breath comping in bursts and gasps, catching it while loosing it at the sight of Titania. Her stars, the wisps and lights, offering perhaps an ethereal comfort as the Fairest does what a Fairest does best.

"Yeah...lets," his mouth moves but no more sound escapes.
