The monkey's ears twitched when she heard the unusual, piercing voice. Blinking her eyes, she instinctually scanned about until she spotted the fleeing figure.

"Hey! Are you Banksy?" Sonnie shouted as she took off after him without a second thought. While she ran, she channeled a small bit of her inherent Glamour into her Hedgespun boots, bringing out their magic to enhance her foot speed. The wind-like engravings in the red leather glowed with golden light (though only fae eyes would notice this). "Go go gadget boots!"

"Keep up Starlight..." her voice echoed back to the Fairest as she nyoomed away.

Sonnie was athletic. Most Beasts were. Physicality came naturally to her Seeming, and she was faster than most. Her Hedgespun boots gave her even more speed, like the wind itself was pushing her body forward. The gap was closing.

What would she do if she caught up to the stranger? Honestly, Sonnie hadn't thought that far ahead. Giving chase was just instinct. Another trait not uncommon in Beasts.

Sonnie grabs the man, and the runner is a man, tanned with a thick beard. Eyes wilds, flitting over her face, a whimper escapes, then a cry as his gaze lands on her tail.


"A-are you gonna eat me...?" comes the small voice that didn't belong on someone of his face and stature.

The incongruity of the man's appearance and voice threw her for a bit of a loop. That he seemed to be able to see her tail also made her wary. Was he a fellow Lost? Sonnie looked him over for anything that would suggest a Mien or Mantle.

The suggestion she was a cannibal also took her by surprise.

"Um, no? You're not a taco." She tilted her head to one side, curious about the man, "I just wanted to talk, dude. Why'd you run away? Are you okay? Do you know anything about that graffiti back there?"

She tried to seem non-threatening, which is how she usually looked, anyway. Just your friendly neighborhood genki girl! However, she kept a firm grip on his arm for the moment.

They say that curiosity killed the cat. If so, she was lucky that cats have nine lives, for as the thuggish monkey harrasses the poor bystander, her attention is all but taken by the wall "That must be it", she exclaims excitedly.
