The glittering purple eye fades back to match the blue eyes of Urhan-Emily.

<<Gauntlet torn>> the pale wolf huffs quietly. <<The bend. Spirit there.>>

There was no way to try and shore up the Gauntlet down here. It wasn't a Rite Emily knew. There weren't any branches she could see.

<<No other path. Best move as one.>> She offers the Alpha. Red Wolf's cunning would only go so far here, but she could offer Wisdom.

Matt growls quiet and low, tenses and waits beside the Alpha ready to go with him by his side or ahead as he decides.

[Nathaniel Dormur]

Nathaniel hadn't spoken much since arriving down the tunnels, content to let the Alpha lead- now that they weren't rushing in anymore. Still...

<<Close Space....>> Having to shift back into Urhan to fit in didn't make the wolf uncomfortable. Being surrounded on all sides by feet of Earth and funneled through a dark cave with Luna's Light and the opening sky continuing to seem further and further away- did.

They seemed to come to a pause. The gauntlet was torn? There was a Rite for that, though neither Nathaniel nor Emily seemed to know of it.... Not like this was exactly the best time to try such a thing. Emily suggested they go as a group. She was certainly more experienced, though Nathaniel still wished to provide something

<<Can... Scout. Easier... Alone>> If they had to bug out in such small spaces, they might very well trip over one another. Though, that Nathaniel's first thought was on their ability to retreat effectively probably didn't speak well.

Emily saw across the gauntlet... What about scents? If he focused a bit...

Soft, careful, steps bring Chris down to the others. "Was waiting for the other new person sorry" Antigone . The Irraka comes to a halt at the back of the group. Apprehension written clear on his face. "Anyone got a light or did you all make a deal with an owl spirit at some point?" A joke, though the Talon doesn't try to hide his feeling on the black pit in front of him.

[Brigit]

Brigit remains as she was, standing beside the packmate with whom she had bonded.

The Pale Wolf's eyes and ears remain focused on the dark ahead. For once, the normally quiet Talon lets out a whine and her form twitched.

She was waiting to be unleashed.

[Bleeds Well]

Ears twitch, muscles ache for action, I can wait no more.

A silent as a shadow I creep up to the corner for a peek.

Bleeds Well is moving again.


This time Hector does not follow. Instead he shuffles to one side and indicates that Nathaniel Dormur may follow with a bob of his shaggy head and a grunt (maybe a growl - from his tortured lips it is hard to say).


He picks up the whine broiling from Brigit . His thickened lips curve into a cruel smile and he jerks his head for the Talon to go as well.

Three wolves makes a pack. Whatever is there, beyond the corner, in the light, might not know how big the Nameless Pack of Sacramento really is. Why commit your full strength when you don't need to?

Stale air holds onto old death and age and decay. This tunnel is new but Nathaniel can tell it clearly connects to something older.

Bleeds Well moves as much by vague impressions as feelings. The corner itself is roughly gnawed as was the tunnel before it. Ahead of Bleeds Well, and Nathaniel and Brigit presuming they follow, lies more darkness. But in the distance there's a faint light. Even if there was not light at the end of a literal tunnel it would still obviously be a tunnel to them. Despite growing wider, enough for all three to be side by side, it feels tight. Confined.

Old. The scent of death and decay creeps onto the trio. In the faint light that reaches them Bleeds Well can see what are likely human remains up seemingly pressed up next to the walls. There aren't many but there's enough for it not to be one lone lost soul who never woke up.
