Purgatory Origins

Tommy jerks his head up, as leaves rustles around him. First an unnaturally large wolf, and then a blonde appeared. At the appearance of the wolf, the smaller boy screams and begins to fight against Tommy in an attempt to get away.

The boys attempts are futile at first, but as Brigit continues to charge making a swing at Tommy, the teen releases the tike and ducks out of the way.

Tommy rolled his perception at a -1, Brigit's stealth success, and noticed her surprise attack, allowing him to apply his full defense. He also resisted Matt's intimidation attempt at a -2. Tommy's init is 13

To keep combat moving I'm going to be following the marbles pretty close. If you miss your action, but it's still the same round you can pop in with your action at anytime until the end of the round as if you delayed your action, your initiative resets to that point in the round.

Most of the pack is in the shadows of the trees and underbrush, the sunlight is starting to fade as night is beginning to creep in. The stench of rotting corpses is almost overwhelming to the strong noses of the wolf, the air is ominous with what has happened here before, and the violence that is springing forth. The small crop of woods has become still and silent as the members of Clarion's Call spring into action. The grass, the dirt, even the bark of the sacrificial tree is stained brown with old blood

Tommy and the tree is speed 8 away from the pack except Matt and Brigit.

Sister Brigit is right in her actions, we must not trust lunacy to protect our secret. It takes no effort to shift to Hishu, and then I'm running, sprinting after the small boy. I pass by the dueling figures of Brigit and the creature-called-Tommy, and scoop up the child in my arms even as he scrambles to run away from the much too large wolf. His tiny arms fight against me, struggling to get away. I press his small head into his chest to hide his eyes. I ache for the Glory of battle, but the Oath is above all else, Nu Bath Githul.

Tommy's head jerks as he tries to roll with the punch, but the blow still glances off of his jaw. As his head turns he spins, coming back around to face Emily and Brigit with a wicked looking Bowie knife he'd had concealed somewhere. The bag is thrown to the side and a smile grows on his face. His eyes are wild and wide open, his teeth just a touch too perfect.

He lunges at Brigit with the knife. In a horror movie the blonde always is the first target of the killer. The lanky teenage body is not graceful, the blade just nicks her, a razorblade thin slice across her cheek.
