Ok, so maybe the new guy freaked out a bit too much. But still, she got it.

But if he did this sort of weird rubbing onions thing on people, it was going to be a problem. And make Thyrsus look bad. And she wouldn’t have that. But for now, she keeps quite, after all, she just returned. Not her place to shut the guy down.

“Or cast random spells on you.” She mutters. Just what had happened since she’d been gone?

Back to Campy, “Glad to be back.” But before she could say more, he excused himself, and she nods, “Of course.” Cause he was Hierarch, and that came first.

Watching the other Shaman, she had to wonder what he was thinking? Sure, she’d cast on others before, but it had been in the heat of battle. And spells that helped save them.

And Winter, ever stoic Winter. She had to smile to herself, seemed he hadn’t changed. Which was good. They needed Awakened like him.

The pink was what caught her eyes as she looks to the girl, then nods, making a motion to come in. She was certainly vibrant, and not just the hair, there was something about her. Fashion aside, but the Shaman was never one for the latest fashions.

Blue eyes blink, wondering if there had been a sudden surge in of her Youtube videos or something.

“Or Aurora, but I’ll answer to either.” This was new to her; sideshow had been a steadily dying art. “And yes, in the flesh. Uh, well, I’ve done that numerous times, but started to perform it all together after.” When she branched out on her own. "Nice to meet you." so many new faces.

Looking to Morgan, “I’ve traveled though there before, pretty state. Too much snow though.” She jokes.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx watches the chaos unfold from afar. It seemed the situation was diffused, and people were... calmer, if not comfortable. It seemed like another deluge of mages was on the cards with three new faces and Aurora back. Pixel. Morgan. Briar Rose. Names taken and committed to memory.

And... Aurora. She'd let so suddenly. It still hurt a little. Maybe she would explain, later.

The Arrow looks to Campenella and Winter. Perhaps it was time to generate some structure, rather than have conversations roam all over. If other conversations were wanted, they could be held out of the main chamber, or off to one side.

"Is there any Concilium business that needs attending, Hierarch?" She asks clearly, her voice sounding a little hoarse. "Last time you were looking to appoint a Herald, if I recall correctly."

[Pixel]

All the positive vibes. The doc apologized, the spell was gone, people were supportive, and Pixel was now on a first name basis with the Heirarch. Not that he was planning on using the title anyway, but still cool!

"Phew!" A hand raised up to wipe the nonexistent sweat from his brow. "Thanks for the support everyone. No dispel necessary after all."

Eyes turn towards the doctor. "Forgiven this time, but let's agree for this to be a teachable moment on how not to behave in Concilium. Or in general."

Pixel was many things, but he would not always be forgiving. Some indiscretions aren't worth fighting over, but a pattern of indiscretion? That's when the wheel starts to squeak.

"Hey Rose!" He does his best to smile to the dirty woman, signaling his willingness to move on. "Pixel. I'm new too. I think Morgan is also by the intro. She's giving out incense if that's your thing."

He points to Morgan real quick with his own batch before remembering Shodan had asked him something vaguely relevant.

"Oh, I'm here for school. I'm starting at Sacramento University on the sixteenth and figured I should introduce myself to the locals before they think I'm a Seer or something. Which, Free Councilor. So hi."

Another sheepish wave is given to the those assembled.

This is the Sacramento of Smiley's People.

At least it was what he expected the last go-round. It's easy to slip into the fringe of the chaos; effortless, the sort of freeway accident milling and gawking that one more person didn't affect. It's tempting to take a picture, #wishyouwerehere, but it sounds like Bad Manners are already the topic du jour. Remember when Miach lost his mind?

There's no sense of fen-water fronds brushing against his thoughts, reading them, but it's still comforting to imagine that's so.

More comforting than the greasy quesadillas from Jollibee that he's folding like pizza slices and quietly eating. Add another five miles to the morning run. Guess who needs to start cooking for themselves again? This fast food diet is killing him.

[Campanella]

The Hierarch's eyes moved carefully between Pixel and Anima, then moved gently to Phoenyx and the newcomer. At last, he relaxed a little and his eyes swept the chamber.

"You may enter freely, Rose. Welcome. I am Hierarch Campanella. If you sought the Consilium, then you have found it."

A beat. He turns slightly to Phoenyx.

"Yes. There is some business. I believe that the Council was about to be reformed. And, of course, I was going to appoint a Herald. After that... other matters will flow in their intended course. So. Has it been decided who will stand beside me? I know this structure will appear top heavy to some, but it will ensure that all Paths - and their valuable insights - will be represented."

[Kaze]

Kaze takes it all in, looking relaxed, or loose anyway, ready to move easily in whatever direction might seem needed. He nods to Briar Rose and says to her in a quiet but not unfriendly voice, 'Kaze, Obrimos'.

He otherwise adopts a neutral, interested expression, as not only the new people but the people he thought he knew seem to present a lot of opportunities to learn about them.

[Morgan]

Fuckin' corpse trees, as soon as she wanted to keep a low profile, everyone was suddenly 'oh, have you met Morgan'?

Served her right for bursting into Consilium like a jackass. But, well, maybe if she ignored it, like an ostrich with its head up its ass, that would work.

"Atlanta's pretty dope," Morgan replied to Papilio, trying to ignore the others around her. "Didn't go out into the country though, unless you truck stops along the highway. I think Mexico was my favorite, though. Especially Baja, though Sinaloa was ok. "

[Winter]

He gauges the reaction of the crowd to the Hierarch's words. Some appeared uninterested, too busy with the small talk. A Consilium was a place of social outing, but also the main venue to conduct Awakened business. Of the latter, there was no trace.
"The Golden Key will convene a meeting and proceed to elect a representative", he says.
