The Circle of Creation stood as it did against the tests of time and strife. The gathering place of the five orders and their like minded apostates, the enormous cathedral had probably seen as many mages come and go as it had bricks in it's foundation.
Today though marked the beginning of a new year, and with it new faces for the Sacramento Concilium. One such face stood outside it's main entrance. Young and innocent looking he looked around to see if anyone else was coming up the stairs. The jeans he wore were fading, his red and black plaid button down was untucked and lightly fraying, and visible scuffs marked his boots. Even the barely formed golden glyphs that were his daily spells spewed sparks like they were wired by a pyromaniac. Still, he fiddled with his hair in an effort to look at least moderately presentable before looking up and seeing the camera looking down at him. Then he audibly sighed as his shoulders sunk.
It was the best he could do, and it was time to get going. Pixel opened the doors and entered the building, knocking on said doors as he did so.
"Hello?"
Pot 1 Third Eye and 2E Space Armor
Phoenyx sat watching the feed from the cameras when an unknown figure stepped through. Quick as a flash she grabbed her coat and hurtled down the stairs. She emerged onto the corridor and came striding down, the leather flapping likes some kind of Matrix knock-off, but she didn't care. It was practical and armoured. It did the job. Under it the knives at her belt and the gun under her arm were visible next to the scarlet gym top and black leggings she was wearing.
The Arrow walked up to the scrawny-looking Mage, eyes noting the Sigils dancing around him. Phoenyx looks tired. Her hair is pulled back in a practical ponytail and is devoid of make-up, though her eyes watch intently, raking over the mage, sizing him up.
"Hello. Can I.... help you?" The words are formal, but the clipped, almost hollow tone makes it sound like help was the last thing on her mind. The Obrimos' social graces had been backsliding of late, after all.
Unike Phoenyx, Shodan steps out of the Free Council wing and into the nave slowly, his posture relaxed. The gold of the glyphs attracts his eyes first, but they quickly move to Phoenyx. She clearly is not in her best shape, and that plus guns plus Forces means possible trouble.
She doesn't sound like a pleasant concierge, either.
"You know what this place needs? A brick pizza oven" He says to them both and neither at the same time "I think our meetups would be a lot more fun with pizza, and it's not like we can order a delivery here"
Not to mention it'd warm the place up slightly. The high walls and big windows are not a picture of thermal efficiency.
"Something to bring up later. Anyway, you are...?" Why would he echo Phoenyx's offer of help, if he can observe the new man curiously, instead?
As the Thyrsus stood outside the building, the urge to turn and walk away washed over her. Would she be welcome? Would what she had done to those Seer’s be a crime she needed to answer for?
But her Fate was unknown to her. Had been for some time. So good or bad, she needed this.
Needed the support of those she had come to trust. But would the support be offered? Or the door closed?
Sighing heavily, she forces herself to enter the building. Opening the door, she heard voices, and her heart skipped a few beats. No turning back now.
Black suede booties announced her entrance on the stone. The black coat fluttering behind her as she approaches the group. Some familiar faces, some not. Her outfit consisted of black ripped jeans and a dark grey sweater. Blonde hair was slightly disheveled, and she made no movement to fix it.
Sunglasses were removed, blue eyes look around, not much had changed. Was that a good thing or a bad thing?
Finally, a weak smile offered, “Hey.”
The eccentric shaman follows closely behind Shodan, “You know brick ovens date back to Ancient Rome, if we installed one we could use it far more than for making pizza. I’ve been studying the medicine men of the Pueblo Indians. They used to store herbs for healing clay pots to preserve their healing properties. I’d be interested in constructing my own storage pots...”he trails off as a new train of thought consumes him.
“storage.. storage.. storage..” he notices two new faces.
“Oh hello! Welcome!.”

Kaze enters with the aura of a Sleeper and no apparent magic about him. He nods to Phoenyx and then his eyes widen when he sees, Aurora. "Oh wow...it's good to see you, Councillor Aurora." He says in a tone of deep respect.
He nods to the others present as well.

Pixel's head jerks back and away from Phoenyx as her clearly tired expression and direct mannerisms clearly spook him.
"I'm Pixel." He waves sheepishly at the Arrow, and then to Shodan a he approaches. "I was looking to introduce myself to the locals."
Shodan's more warm approach would have done more had his words not been followed by one of the most confident looking women he had ever seen following up behind him. His attention was naturally drawn to her, not just for her appearance, but because he recognized her from somewhere.
"Aren't you the bendy lady?" His eyes went wide with the immediate realization that that was not how that question should have been asked. "Sorry! I mean Madi-Sorry! No name club. The contortionist? Is that okay to ask?"
His attention swiftly turned to Shodan and Anima, nervously smiling as it did. "I like pizza! And pottery! Though I think you want a kiln for the latter. Brick ovens don't usually get hot enough to fire clay and the lack of insulation makes temperature control difficult. Unless you have Forces which, if you do, why are we talking about ovens?"
2 suxx to recognize a famous person
Papilio arrived a bit later than he would normally have been accustomed to, having been delayed by prior events.
Nonetheless he was here, and luckily he had arrived still able to notice two new faces in the Consilium.
"Ah, hello. I hope I have not ah... Kept everyone waiting for long?" Whatever those may be. Papilio still had yet to really involve himself in the Consilium's activities- save for the stint on Halloween, at least.
Apparently talk was on the nature of cooking? Perhaps even using Forces Arcana? Thankfully, it seemed he hadn't missed anything too serious.... Unless he'd been later than expected? No matter, Papilio found a space in the Consilium and stuck to it, waiting for matters to unfold.
Phoenyx's eyes narrow confusedly at Shodan. She just doesn't get his sense of humour most of the time. Still. He could handle the welcoming bit. Took it off her hands.
She casts a look over the nervous guy's shoulder to where Aurora slips inside, and a smile finally appears for a second. "Hey," She offers to the Mysterium quietly. It had hurt when she left before, after being so helpful. Dark eyes the others arrive. The look hardens on Kaze for a second, before landing back on the new arrival before her.
"Pixel." She says the name as if sampling it. He certainly didn't look like an Arrow to her.... she takes a slow breath. "We should go into the chamber rather than loitering in corridors. If you have an Order, perhaps we may be able to offer more direction."
She heads off towards the Circle Chamber without a backward glance. Lights begin appearing in the room she is in, followed by the scent of incense.
