Earlier in the year, the Libertine Shodan had made an attempt to map as many High Places and Ley Lines as possible. The information was not hoarded, not exactly; and soon a copy had found its way to the Consilium. It was useful information - not just for potential Cabals but for any mage; a common heritage that bound them all. This was a work still very much in progress...
And one of the High Places - Hallows as the Awakened called them - has just vanished.
This one in particular had been located in the hard-to-reach attic of an abandoned shop in a district of warehouses and light industrial lots. The Hallow had formed around a circular window through which the golden rays of dawn had poured. Tass - mana crystallised in physical form - had formed with the dust motes in the air and gently drifted down to the floor where anyone could gather it up.
Hallows can come and go over time; but this had been a moderately powerful Hallow and the speed with which it had simply ceased to be was disturbing to say the least.
What do you do?

The Shaman arrives, fascinated as usual, by the oddities that seem to occur around Sacrament daily. Perhaps, this research will help him uncover more truths about the abandoned hospital before he dives back into that mystery.
He wears simple attire, cargo pants, comfortable shoes, and a Hawaiian shirt. Why is he wearing a Hawaiian shirt in December in Northern California? He couldn't explain the urging, but it spoke to him. He carries with him his black bag of oddities, including his EMF reader. Perhaps the gauntlet will tell him something. Perhaps not. It's all about gathering data and experimentation. He smiles at the thought as he steps out of his Jeep Wrangler and hefts the bag out of the passenger seat. Ahhh, experimentation is his favorite part. Perhaps some other local will show up and experience wild phenomena like Papi, that HAD been interesting.

There is no XP Request on your sheet Mark - I believe the site had to do a small reset today and it may have been lost
Hallows don't vanish out of the blue. Alterations are either the result of vast telluric shifts that grind over the course of weeks or the aftereffect of deliberate action that alters the resonance of the landscape and the surrounding lay structure. The Guardian has a theory, what he lacks is hard data to put the validity of his assumptions to test.
The wheels of his Mustang come to a screeching alt against the concrete pavement of the street as the handbrake is pushed. He looks around, and once he's made sure that nobody is around, he rests the back of his head against the seat. It should be an easy recon mission, but one can never be too careful.

And then, amid a sea of broken words, a glimpse of truth pierces the murk of shadows.

Three mages converge on a point near the ... Hallow (or what used to be a Hallow). The neglected shop stands before them, partially boarded up, with a brand new sign declaring LEASED without the slightest appearance that the shop is being repaired or repurposed.
Anima Mark can tell that the urban blight has created a thickened Gauntlet. He can also tell that the local Resonance seems greatly muted but that is all.
Given the minor reset I'll grant the request on this occasion
Abacus Hiver will also note how the local Resonance is greatly muted. As with the Shaman, his Sight does not reveal anything else at this time.
Winter Vincent has Supernal Vision. He notes how the local Resonance is muted as well; but with his more sensitive awareness the Guardian can also note that the resonance is muted because the local reserves of ambient mana appear to have been sharply drained or depleted. Its not just the Hallow that is gone, but much of the local mana and local resonance seems to be gone as well.

“The urban sprawl has definitely taken it’s roots here,” the Shaman stats he obvious idly looking around. He offers the newcomer a nod. “Welcome,” Glancing at Winter and wait to see how the sentinel will proceed.
