Kaze nods and follows Phoenyx's lead, saying "Where do you want me?" as he moves up next to her, watching the area around for anything significant.
2 successes
He cased the house casually, making the block while polishing off some Jolly Kone and treating that sketchy tingle like a crack house or cultist's den. This outfit looks like it's fallen though the cracks of the city, too, but it's comfy ay eff. George Michael is crooning about hearts and Christmases and the light bite of chill air on the skin produces one singular thought:
A cigarette sure would be nice.
Damn that Winter. Guess who is quitting again for their New Year's Resolution? By the time he came back 'round the front, it looked like a house party had arrived. He'd missed the glaring and staring, though. Too bad. Anima is unmistakable, though, and there's Kaze. Sneakers skip across the street and a gloved hand steadies his swaying backpack as he approaches Phoenyx and Kaze.
"Not bad for a starter home," he offers, "Depending on the payout from the eventual Imminent Domain claim."
Wait for it.
"Did you know that Sacramento has the world's oldest triathlon? They kayak instead of swim."
As Star crosses the street to join up with Kaze and Phoenyx, Anima and Morgan are already hard at work.
Anima casts his spell, sensing the Glyph take hold before he hears the door pop and creak, as if a pressure had been eased on the door frame. The spirit has done what it can, now the rest is up to him.
Morgan makes a quick reconnoitre of the back yard: small ugly lawn with a few more scraggly bushes - some old cobwebs there, too, snagged deep in the anaemic branches. The bulk of the yard has been gobbled up by an even uglier block of an extension. Ground floor doors and windows are shut. Upper storey does have one access point: an open window with a greying curtain snarled in the frame; to get to it, one would need to climb up onto the extension first.
Morgan also notes that there appears to be a hole under the eaves of the roof. If she could find a ladder, she might be able to squeeze in through there.
As per RAW Mark - Coaxing the Spirit gives a die bonus to a roll related to the object / spirit's purview. The spell won't actually open the door. But it will make the lock easier to pick

Phoenyx watches as Morgan heads off around the back, and winces as Anima calls out. Subtle as a brick.
The Arrow gives Kaze a quick glance. "Health and Safety. No-one alone... Help Dean on the front. And be. Quiet." She hisses softly, with a clipped emhasis on the words.
She sees Star emerge from the side and gives him a shrug. "Sounds like fun. Don't know about a good starter though - something smells off. Could be the drains. Not sure about the power either." For all her lack of social graces, apparently there was a very Spartan sense of humour somewhere in there.
"I'm joining a friend round back, checking the kitchen. Want to come look? Or you can stick with Sam and Dean over there." She asks the Sentinel, nodding at Anima and Kaze. Mark the day, people. Phoenyx got a pop culture reference in one swing.
She starts off around the house (slowly in case Star wants to join) to catch up with Morgan. "How's it look?" She asks the Moros.
"Look up at the window," Morgan replied without pointing, her eyes turned to look off into the distance to see just how secluded they actually were. Should be fairly well, consider there was just the freeway and the new buildings around them.
"Either we get a ladder, look like painters or some shit, there's really no sneaky way to get in. Could maybe pick the door if I had tools, I guess, or we could just bust a window."
The eccentric doctor stands up straight with a smile as the door responds to his coaxing. Reaching into his bag he pulls out a set of black latex gloves and pulls them on with a satisfying snap. He smiles over his shoulder to those that remain out front and then grabs the door handle. With a twist of the wrist, a little application of body and a slight jiggle, the door pops and swings open. He pushed to door open wide, taking in what lies before him as he pulls out his EMF and peeks across the gauntlet.
Kaze nods at Phoenyx's direction and moves smoothly and unhurried towards the front of the house where Anima is...doing what he does.
He nods at Star, acknowledging his approach even as he is moving in the other direction, and then when he is near Anima, Kaze says, "Hi. We're on the buddy system; I'm you're buddy, so I'm going to stay by you."
As Anima gets the door open and stands in the line of fire in front of it, Kaze tenses just a little and prepares to pull Anima out of the doorway if some kind of attack or danger manifests from it.
Lazy eyes watch the flare of spellcraft needed to open a door. Those damn doors, yo. Always a thing. Want to know what kind of operator someone is? Present them with a locked door. Works every time. At least there's no cowboys on the team unloading their piece at a $20 Home Depot lock.
Still.
"Yeeeeeah, I never did like that show," he answers, following Phoenyx. Gut feeling says that if anyone's going to die today, it's Goose and Maverick up front. He's sticking with Dark Phoenix and Professor X.
"What's wrong with looking like people breaking into an abandoned house to smoke some weed?" he asks, letting his eyes slide over Morgan to look up at the house. "I might be able to boost you both up to that window."
Yumyumcrow - will a Teamwork'ed Climbing roll suffice or is it too high?
"Eh, you get what you grow up with," Phoenyx says with a shrug to Star.
Looking up at the open window Morgan points out, the Arrow listens to the ideas. "A leg up would be easier. Then we can help each other up..." She tried to gage the distance, to see how plausible Star's idea is.
