"Ley lines. Mapping them, right? It's a good idea. I'll help." Kaze says in a weary tone that lacks his usual enthusiasm even as his speech lacks his usual loquaciousness.
He shrugs at Phoenyx, a puzzled expression on his face "I'd say whoever planned to come, did so already" The other Obrimos Libertine wasn't around for last Consilium and Shodan didn't catch a sight of him lately. No comms, either. It's probable that whatever he was looking for, he didn't find it in Sacramento.
He's almost forgotten about the farm and what they've found there but it makes sense. One, because they basically stumbled upon a Demesne, and two, because if Sleepers could find it, so could others.
"I don't think any spillover happened. If it did, the hunters would not pull out like they apparently did. And Hierarch's new friend has supposedly taken care of the Seers. But if we wanted to move in again, I'd still say tracking the cars and then following the thread is our best bet. I mean, we spent there, like, an hour and found five tassified bodies, an angelic footprint and a lifetime of magical gadgets. Shit like that doesn't just go away"

The Arrow nods slowly. "Anyone with enough Prime should be able to map the Ley lines. Maybe we could get extra help."
Phoenyx pulls her shoulders around her. "Which farmhouse was this? I can't recall the description at the concilium." Her jaw drops. "That's.... a lot of things. Angelic footprint? What happened to all this stuff?
She sighs. "I don't want to assume this new 'ally' has fixed all Seer problems. I trust the Hierach, but who's to say he hasn't been deceived? There are too many gaps to assume that things are all okay. Of course, some just think that's me being paranoid. Urgh." Cosmo was such a pain. Assuming everything was okay because it hadn't happened to him. Still, they'd talked. If he could put it behind him, she would have to as well.

"We stumbled upon the site of a botched angelic summoning a few months ago. We couldn't track the creature, and the summoners were turned into ashes, but the place became a natural - albeit temporary - Demesne", it's not the tracking part that troubles the Guardian. After all with his mastery over prime and fate it wouldn't be too hard. What was problematic was dealing with the creature, the prospect of a supernal being lazily strolling around Sacramento waiting to be enthralled by a cabal of Seers or worse. They had to be quick about it.
"I haven't been able to verify of the Hierarch's contacts, until then, let's assume those are people we can't count on".

Shodan is content to just listen as Winter explains the situation further and others make their comments. There wasn't much to add until a plan is drafted, and it won't be drafted unless and until the Guardian starts it. He brought it up, after all.

"Okay." The First Talon rubs her eyes. "So... we need to check out the farm, see if the Demesne remains. Track down the creature, destroy it, and deal with anyone who interacted with it." She looks at Winter. "As our only Guardian, is there a specific procedure for cases like this?"
Kaze seems happy to wait for Winter.
"Don't be defensive, Shodan. It sounds like we're all on the same page there." Phoenyx sounds weary. "We don't like going on faith for that the enigmatic ally will come through. That is good." She slouches across and drops into a chair.
"So, what about this angel?"

The words of heresy resonate through the room ringing still in the Obrimos' ears. An angel was a being of pure truth, a supernal sign enticed away by its own abode and incarnated in an imperfect world, it wasn't some vulgar abyssal spawn. Well, at least it was the theory - one of many competing - he ascribed to.
The Guardian's jaw pulses as his gaze narrows upon the Arrow as to study her. Did her martial training take precedence over her occult schooling?
Then, his words cut through the lies.
"As watch-keepers of the gates of Heaven, our priority is to protect magic and the truth. This manifest is a denizen of the Aether, and if it still exists in this world, to the Aether it will return, preferably unscathed. That being said, a few months have passed, so unless it has found a way to survive, chances are that the creature is already gone. What intrigues me though, is the implication for the Veil. A bunch of Sleepers has managed to perform the summoning ritual. Either the ritual was ineffective and the opening of the gateway was a random occurrence with them being mere witnesses, or they were directed by an Awakened will. Or worse, they might have found a ritual that doesn't require directions from an Enlightened soul" , he looks at Shodan, "We need to re-examine the area. Did you get anything out of the cars' plates?"
