Mateo pulls out his cellphone, sending out a text to the other half of his pack, as well as a few others, to let them know the progress of the situation and that they've found their piece of the Shard.
He looks at Vincent and Cory, waits a few moments for them to bag up the Shard, and makes ready to head back to the Den.

Vincent returns with a various number of bags, unsure if they were the right sort.
"Here you go, Cor," he says with confidence.
|

|
|
|
|
|
Cory grabs the biggest plastic bag Vincent found and slides the gory partial body inside. He uses a towel to wipe down the outside of the bag of any blood splatter, then hefts it up in his arms.
He sniffs his human nose, smelling the smoke.
"Okay, Boss. Our little friend is ready to go."

"Okay, lets get out of here now." Mateo says, slinging the guitar case over a shoulder, and making his way for the door.

Cory follows his Alpha with a feeling of a job well done.
Something nagged at his pride, however.
That green slug distracted me from ripping apart the lady with the gun. How did that happen? That shouldn't happen again.
