Jacque observes his surroundings as they make their way in the building. He quietly questioned to himself if the Keeper had provided the right directions until they got inside and received the detached 'greeting'. Yeah, this is the place.
"Mable Wood," he replied. The Sheriff had mentioned this wasn't the place to fuck around and if he was going to spend the night playing as Mable's mouthpiece it was best to start early to instill the habit.

Mable stands quietly beside Jack, she doesn't even smack him for speaking for her. Instead she looks around. And waits patiently.
After taking a rather belabored second to check a list, he looks up. "You can pick up your order through there." The man behind the counter says as he points to a plain looking door behind him.
As Mable and Jack step through the door, it is as if they are transported to a whole new place. The floor goes from grungy linoleum to beautiful marble tile. The walls go from dingy stains drywall to beautiful walls and columns. It is an monument to wealth and prestige, and all of it, is shades of black.
"Hello Miss Wood," An extremely well dressed woman with an iPad strapped to her left hand steps up from the shadows. "My name is Sinead, I will be your hostess for the evening. May we have your friend's name please."

Mable let out a sigh at the beauty. Then was greeted at the door. "Good evening, Sinead. What a beautiful decor. This is my handsome associate, Alexander Krait." Mable gave a nod in Jack's direction.

If there was anything that peaked Jacque’s curiosity, it was the clever use of misdirection to completely casually disguise the gem found inside the outwardly drab building. With the first veil now lifted, he begins to take in the new surroundings for anything of note.
As quickly as she appeared, he shifted his gaze to their announcedhandlerhostess. He grinned and bowed his head at the mention of his name, silently confirming the information was accurate. He had hoped he could manage to navigate the evening without mentioning his alias, but that was quickly extinguished. “Good evening, just Alex is preferred.” He then paused to hear whatever warnings were sure to be announced to two first time visitors of this place of secrets and power.

As Jacque looks about, he sees several men in black suits, with black shirts, ties and pocket squares, lined up along the wall. Obvious security guards. What he doesn't see however, is camera's. It appears that this place's renown for privacy holds true as far as the front entrances are concerned. "Mr. Krait," Sinead responds with all formality and a small bow of her head. Turning to Mable, and after a quick look to her tablet, "This is your first time to The Man in Black, yes?"

After giving Jack's 'name', Mable did a quick security scan of the room. Specifically looking for exits, guards, cameras, other potential obstacles, or escape routes.
Mable's attention came back to Sinead when she spoke, "Yes..."Mable managed to keep herself from babbling. Keeping answers short was the key here.

All formality it was then. With the simple enough question addressed to and answered by Mable, Jacque merely offered a nod of his head should Sinead expect acknowledgement of the question by him as well.
Mable is able to notice similar to what Jack notices, the obvious security guards and the lack of cameras. There is one doorway, the one she came in, and one elevator. There are no other doors or windows. It is entirely void. "Very well, we have two spaces, one is a open area where people come to socialize and enjoy company among the most wealthy and powerful. The other space is private, for you, Mr. Krait, and any other guests you prefer. As with all spaces here, they are completely devoid of any surveillance equipment, and you can count on the complete silence and respect of the staff here at the Man in Black. Which space would you prefer?"

Mable considered this without looking at Jack. "I would like to see more of this beautiful decor and meet some people. Could I go to the open area then bring someone back to the private area for some discussions?" She asked with a coquettish tilt to her head. "What do you think, Alex?" She glanced at Jack.
